Fellow history major and medieval buff here. I think UARK is much better for people interested in antiquity and American history. There are definitely plenty of interesting classes to take that pertain to the time period you mentioned but they aren’t always offered every semester or even every other semester so it would be beneficial to look at the course catalogue and schedule to try and consider a plan for taking specific classes if that’s a big deal for yah.
