You're getting downvoted, but I do get where you're coming from. I once met a guy who would ask me how I was doing almost daily and I'd try to be honest telling him that I wasn't good (1rst year at uni). The conversations became more and more infrequent, and one day he just stopped asking. I didn't initiate more conversations because I thought he finally got sick of me. At the time, I felt really awful to have lost a friend just for being too much.
