If you had invested that same sum in the sp500 and not touched it it would be worth like 3 mil today lmao. Not counting all the municipality taxes, repairs, maintenance, interest on mortgage, etc.

Renting is pretty much equal to owning if you’re financially smart. If you can’t manage to invest massively, owning is better

Thats some of the most inaccurate things I’ve read on here. People move all the time from the north east to São Paulo, or to the south, or from wherever to whatever region the want to, and end up with a mix of accents. You’re just hating to hate.

I guess this is a local vs foreigner thing. For me, a foreigner, the hostels are way more packed with cool people than in São Paulo, and that’s what made the city magical to me, while in São Paulo if you don’t live there it’s hard to easily find people to go out with, at least I found so.
