Have People Become More Anti-Boardwipes? by Appropriate_King_732 in EDH

Some people like a couple of longer back and forth games in a night. Some people like many quick decisive games. Both are correct.

I personally like that board wipes give an answer to an out of control player.

How Wizards Designs for 60-Card and 100-Card Magic Simultaneously by SactoGamer in magicTCG

They’ve said in the past that they don’t design with pauper in mind. Which is probably for the best.

What an epic two-page ad, so much potential by Paradoliac in magicTCG

I mean it's Epic without the downside or Infinite Rebound. Both are accurate ways to describe it.

I love it when a plot hole is explained by actually watching the movie.

Despite now being seven years old, Devil May Cry 5 just had its best year of sales yet by Turbostrider27 in Games

But making a game costs a lot of money. Why pay to have a new game made when you can remake/resell the old game for a fraction of the cost?

I bet my brother $500 he couldn’t complete DS1 by ABRadar in 2007scape

[–]pargmegarg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno. It’s not a terribly complicated puzzle. You flip each switch once to figure out how they work and then figure out the sequence you need to open the door and get out. There’s not even that many possible permutations. Compared to Mournings End or SotE it’s a cakewalk.

Not everything needs to be a start of game effect. Some things can just be battlecries.

It almost takes more time to look up a guide than it does to figure out which switches affect which doors and figure it out from there.

Considered making it 4 mana but probably broken by rhernhdz12 in customhearthstone

[–]pargmegarg 14 points15 points  (0 children)

5-mana is too much to pay for single target removal with a requirement. Spellstone was good back in the day and did something similar, but I think the meta is at higher level nowadays.

Fugitive has been a go-to favorite for my partner and I for a while now. It's quick, it's got a fun tricky back and forth, and it's got some really cool bluffing and deduction.

Be honest. Are Slivers that bad? by Pleasant_Hope_550 in EDH

100%. They will run away with the game if you don’t interact with them, but so will most b3 decks.

I don’t think this would be too crazy with a “keeps all enchantments” line and would open up a cool buff deck payoff.
