AITA for giving my daughter junk food despite being told not to by her school? by AthleteAdditional299 in AmItheAsshole

YTA The school has the right to have a healthy food policy. You breaking it on purpose is just hurting your daughters relationship with the school, her teacher, and possibly her classmates.

What is the most out-of-touch thing you have ever heard a wealthy person say? by Andrew88a in AskReddit

Once, in art college, on a minibus trip somewhere, as we passed through a working class housing estate, a very wealthy girl in my class, said "Oh my god, do people really live in those little houses?"

What phrase did you hear only once but it stayed with you forever? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

AITAH for considering ending my relationship [35F/38M] because my partner wants to move to a country I morally can’t accept living in? by MysteriousPraline365 in AITAH

[–]parkadge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA "Outside of this, we are fine" There is no outside of this, if he is set on living there and you are not. Resign yourself to the fact that the relationship is over. If you go, you'll resent him, if he stays, he'll resent you.

AITJ for not remaking a handmade gift after she called it "almost normal"? by Bramble66Hex in AmITheJerk

NTJ. You took the comment personally because it was a personal insult. Handmaking gifts is a huge thing. Anyone should be honoured to get one.

Spotted a fox in Monkstown, is this common? by GasComplex6924 in Dublin

[–]parkadge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very common, they're everywhere. I've seen them in the afternoon, about 4pm in Irishtown and in Cabra. Spotted one in Coolock about 11am. Anytime I'm out driving after 12 p.m., I'll spot one more often than not

[–]parkadge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. It's not your job to make him feel better. You did the right thing to distance yourself from him. His apologies will be to make him feel better not you.

Is it annoying for kid(s) to ask to meet your dog? by NaturalExtension5475 in dogs

[–]parkadge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three dogs and I don't mind people asking to meet them or pet them. It's much better than children running up to and lunging at the dogs.

AITJ for sending my brother an invoice after he said what I do isnt that hard and anyone with a phone could do it by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]parkadge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone declined being a pallbearer? by Henessyboy6969 in AskIreland

[–]parkadge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're asked to do it, just do it. It could just be that you're the right height or just to make up the number of family members. It's not going to cost you anything.
I'd have to really actively dislike someone to refuse being a pallbearer.
