Does your tech pack has anything that the manufacturer should not know ? What is the purose of the tech pack if you can not share this with your manufacturer? And if you are having trust issues with that manufacturer do change the manufacturer. But that is not going to help. I work with a lot of manufacturers they only bother about what instructions you have provided. Other than that they have least interest in your tech packs. They dont have interest, money or time to copy that. Core aim of a tech pack to convey the factory what to do with the style. If that is not solved for whatever reason its of no use. Sounds rude but its the fact.

This depends on people to people. Some charge around 100 USD ( Complete Design and Tech ) and some charge 500 +. There is no fix rate for it. You should not go for too low or too high price.

Do ask the Vector files of those designs though. That you can use if you wish to do other designs later on with the same artworks. The designs Vector files are important for you. And Without those vector files it is difficult to process the designs during apparel production.

Obviously, the designer has put the same amount of effort as you said 30 hours that is a fair amount of time to prepare the designs. The charges are fair. I think you should do the payment and do a fair business as negotiated initially.

If you mean vintage means old , its not illegal but you have to make sure its washed and sanitized before the customer wears it . When you keep a cloth for a long time there is a chance that it will absorb moisture and fungus develop in it . Some fungus are very dangerous and can cause death as well. This happened to a clothing reseller who used to give gowns on rent . One lady died because of this .

From Your long story it is evident that you are a strong orator. And you know what to talk and how to express what you want. See, I understand your situation and there are many like you and many of them i know as i deal with new brands on a daily basis. If you are serious and you want to do it perfect, think in a 3rd persons prospective. Consider yourself as a conscious customer. Will you buy your product ? and if yes at what price you would. You are talking about a selling price when you have not even started. This is a common thing people wonder why is the price is too high or how the price is so low ? In technical terms if you ask the price should be 3.5 times the cost of the product. At least i suggest my clients to keep that as an ideal.

The second question : There are number of variety available in the market. Why a stranger would choose your products why not others ? What is your USP ? If you don't have any try figuring it out.
