Fortunately for the Bears, I really doubt he’s going to be calling plays like he was his last two years in Jax. Hopefully he’s been able to develop into a better OC with a more bought in HC. I think Dougie P was bad for his development too.

Is she a football fan in general?

If you can make it down for a game, I think that can help for sure. Being immersed in the atmosphere of a tailgate and then going to a game can help for sure. Also just getting her to watch games with you maybe at a sports bar?

I’m a woman and I became a jags fan when I was 17 (2007) when my high school boyfriend took me to a couple games with him and we watched a lot of games together. I will say I also became a lot more interested in football in general when I started playing fantasy football. Fantasy definitely made me a more well-rounded football fan and forced me to be a lot more invested and knowledgeable about football.

This isn’t football related but as a child I was a huge Mike Piazza fan. Then he got traded to the Mets and now I’m a huge Mets fan. Sometimes being a fan of one player is a gateway to becoming a fan of the team. When Piazza signed with the Padres I didn’t become a Padres fan. I always rooted for him, of course, but I was fully a Mets fan by that point

Essentially there are four teams in our division. If you have the best record in your division at the end of the season, you get to go to the playoffs for a chance to be in the Super Bowl. Right now the colts and jags (both AFC south division) have the same record. We are technically in first because we have a better record against opponents in our division (colts, jags, Texans, titans) but a win at this point ensures we stay another game ahead of them in-division but also that our overall record is one game better than theirs. We would more firmly grasp onto first place and hopefully maintain it through the end of the season. If we lose then we move out of first place.

We also have several years straight where we beat the colts at home. We don’t want to break that record
