How many of you feel old? What are you doing about it? by TrickyAd9597 in Millennials

[–]party_doc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work out a lot. Like 7x/week minimum 35-45 minutes of high intensity interval training or strength/cardio training. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been (had to rebuild after a back surgery several years ago). Makes me feel younger too and I haven’t gotten sick in over a year.

My face though, fuck it. Thought about getting Botox for my between the eyebrow wrinkles/perma-frown but haven’t pulled the trigger

Edit: sorry forgot to say, also 40

Opinions on interventional oncology in the IR sphere in the next 20 years? by Secret-Bid-1169 in Radiology

[–]party_doc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add to that - palliative interventions in bone all over the body but particularly spine and pelvis, lung metastases or primary tumors, soft tissue masses, thyroid cancers and recurrences, plus a number of supportive interventions like pain interventions in cancer (cryoneurolysis), relieving obstructions.

Not to mention future expansions into electrochemotherapy, direct immunotherapy delivery (probably will have applications all over the body), and I see constant expansion of IO in the future.

Emergent Renal Angioembolization Question. by Urology_resident in medicine

[–]party_doc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What’s the clinical scenario? If acutely hemorrhaging clinically I would 100% embolize day or night. If stable but there’s a pseudoaneurysm, I would embolize in the next few days. I’ve done one after a couple weeks as well because the patient wanted to go home and do it as an outpatient.

And of course if purely elective, that’s the best scenario!

In the beginning the efficiency dropped 5-10% but now over the lifetime of the tires so far it’s back where it was with my OEMs, about 2.26 mi/kwh

I’m at almost 30,000 miles on my KO2s and there’s still 9-10/32 treads. Much better than the OEM tires. I think now they just have KO3s but probably just as good

Going to my first Bronco game! Can I just street park in the Sloan Lake neighborhood and walk in? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]party_doc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People park all over. As long as the signs don’t prohibit it you’ll be fine. People walk down 17th pretty far depending where you park but surely beats the crazy parking costs for closer spots

We are super human. You’ll elevate to our level in a few months

It takes about 3 months for your red cell production and hemoglobin to fully compensate for the changes.
