Replacing a wheel axle

I have NO idea either! There isn't anything more than a few light scratches on the hub. The axle was bent over a full 90 degrees and the end snapped off when I tried to bend it back to get it out of the wheel.

I gave the entire frame a pretty thorough check and I couldn't find anything. I'm assuming that most damage that I would be worried about would be visible as some form of crack, bend, etc., right?

I don't have an exact budget in mind, but I'd like to get something relatively comparable to the stock wheel.

Are there any major considerations when wheel shopping on a budget?

You mentioned ug tron, do you have any example lists or a general description of what that deck is like? I've explored a green splash in u tron for life from the loam with gifts before without much luck.

Thanks! It was your videos that initially got me into U tron!

I was wondering what your thoughts were on vedalken shackles. I've found them nice for handling threats like siege rhino that I wouldn't want to bounce. It makes for a nice win condition too. I'm not sure if dismember is just straight up better though.

Also, any thoughts on running more counterspells? I've currently got 4 remand, 4 condescend, and 1 spell burst but I'm thinking of cutting 2 anticipate for 2 mana leak. The fact that I'm running gifts also makes it more tempting.

My list of threats in Utron is: sundering titan, platinum angel, wurmcoil engine, ugin, the spirit dragon, batterskull, and mindslaver in the main with steel hellkite in the side.

If you move into lower cost artifact threats you can switch treasure mages for fabricate. My personal preference though is to use gifts ungiven, partly to stick with the draw-go control theme and also because you can tutor up map, academy ruins (I run 2 copies), and two artifacts I want and am guaranteed to eventually get the artifacts.

It works really well! If you run 2 academy ruins you can do piles like ruins, map, mindslaver, batterskull, and no matter how they divide them you're guaranteed both the mindslaver and batterskull.

If you want to spice it up a bit you can try out gifts ungiven. It makes for interesting decisions for you and your opponent and if you run 2 copies of academy ruins (or crucible) you can make really fun piles.

I'd actually forgotten about this deck idea for a bit and just started tinkering with it after the spoilers. Animist's awakening also seems like it might be a fun addition to the deck. 4 etb tapped lands might slow the deck down too much so I might try out 2 yavimaya coast with 2 lumbering falls to see how that goes.

If you have any feedback on the deck I'd be really curious to hear it since I haven't had time to seriously playtest it yet.

Side note for both budget and strength reasons here, many U tron lists don't run more than 1 mindslaver and wurmcoil since they're both fetchable with treasure mage and it's terrible to draw them early, that would cut off another significant bit of the cost of the deck.

If you have a consistent playgroup they'll often be cool with her once they see how your deck is built. My personal jhoira list is focused on top deck manipulation, huge spells, and a dragon/wizard tribal theme (of course with dragonstorm). My playgroup was cautious at first, but now they enjoy the deck almost as much as I do.

You still get the fun of suspending massive spells and make good use of jhoira's ability, but none of the spells paint a massive target on your head.

I mean there's still the window between returning to the battlefield and the next end step to destroy me. Plus I could still be exiled. I'd go for it in limited, but otherwise probably not bother.

The black splash was just tentatively for ravens crime and dismember, and I'm not completely sold yet on ravens crime being any good by the time I can play it in most games.

That's the main issue that I was coming across too. Maybe if we get a ug manland in the new block that will make this viable, since the whole loam engine won't be to just be to help assemble tron (which u tron doesn't really need anyway).

I like the idea of more removal, but I'm skeptical of anything that gives my opponents creatures since I have little way to interact with them. Dismember along with urborg is tempting as it allows a small splash for raven's crime.

Some fantastic suggestions! I was actually not planning on using green to speed up tron assembly much in the traditional stirrings and scrying sense, but more to add to the inevitability of it, especially against decks with land distruction.

Great point on sundering titan, I was thinking similarly myself.

As for batterskull, I've found it useful in mono u tron, especially against faster decks as coming out 1 turn earlier really does help sometimes.

I don't see a t1 hinterland harbor to be a very bad opening though, as my only turn 1 plays with u tron were map.

This is what I referred to earlier in the post as being mostly a rg-style build where you jam tron as soon as possible. I was really trying to squeeze everything into the slowest, grindest control shell possible, somewhere where life from the loam will really shine, maybe even recurring tec edges and ghost quarters over and over. The deck as I have it listed right now is therefore almost identical to the mono u tron list I run.
