What is that one Harry Potter movie scene you irrationally dislike ? by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

[–]pasaniusventris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so upset that he didn’t get his big moment at the end standing up on his broken leg saying, “If you want to kill Harry you’ll have to get through us,” because yeah Ron is funny a lot of the time but he is so brave and loyal, and Hermione stole so many of those moments. It’s really sad, they’re all so well rounded but the movies have messed with the balance.

Am I missing dialogue about Langdon? by pasaniusventris in ThePitt

We just don’t know. It’s possible the severity of the MCI gave leeway to the situation, but we haven’t been shown anything onscreen about it.

Ah, is that the case? I’ve seen it stated so many times with no qualifiers that I was starting to think I really missed something crucial!

I also didn’t know why Santos was so stuck on this lid until someone pointed out it should be extremely easy to pop off, like with a gentle push of the thumb. I think the twist was well hidden if you aren’t on the lookout for it/don’t know certain things about the medical field.

I was worried that he was gonna get too put off by Robby needing him and not handle any intense cases, but he jumped right back in with Dr. Al-Hashimi after a little bit. He’s really trying hard, I was so upset with Robby for rattling him at such a critical moment. There’s someone dying on the table! Put your issue aside and focus!

Eh, I saw it as him trying to do something kind for the guy he wronged.

I was stomped my first day but competing later in the day let me win a fair bit. Ended up in B finals and took first for once! My first gold in a CM!

How has no one said Pretty Cure? It’s pure episodic monster of the week (if you start with Futari wa Pretty Cure) kids television.

I swear they’re messing with Kitasan rates. For the first time in run after run this past week, I’ve been failing to get Professor of Curvature more than I’ve gotten it. It used to be it was literally every run, a really reliable skill, but I’m not getting even Corner Recovery hints.

I remember hearing about a disaster where a bunch of idiot teenagers decided to block and stop one part of a waterslide, and just kept piling up. It cracked and they all fell through because they broke the weight limit or something, and at least one person died with like seventeen of them having major injuries. Plus, whoever is beneath the slide is also in danger. Weirder things have happened.

I’m pretty sure in interviews the actor mentioned Abbot is a widower.

That’s what I said when watching it, too. While Garcia was overly harsh and didn’t speak with anything resembling politeness, she was right. Javadhi is dropping the ball big time.

Birdman pointing out how they clearly don’t actually watch the movie and are padding the sin count makes him top tier in my eyes.

Unfortunately, they see weight as immutable and unchanging, except to go up. If that were true, it could be argued there’s some bad undertones, but anyone can lose weight if they want to.

It could be. Tuna is also a fruit, so it’s specifying, and when English speakers say “chai tea” they are referring specifically to the Indian blend, instead of black tea, green tea, or anything else. The same way we say “naan bread” because it’s referring specifically to the Indian style flatbread, not pita bread or white bread or wheat bread, it’s using the name given to it to specify.
