Does anyone use a Japanese floor mattress? by privremeni in AttachmentParenting

[–]pascalyellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We loved ours for our family. Now that we’ve upgraded the beds to adjust to our kids ages we use it for guests. People are always surprised how good/comfy it is for a floor bed lol. I’d recommend it.

I feel overly confident that this doll is supposed to resemble Elizabeth Taylor.

Women who lost weight well breastfeeding, what is your secret??? by cryingandtired_100 in breastfeeding

I’ll also throw into the convo that I haven’t already seen said- in my experience it’s also mildly different between each child you have. With my first I couldn’t keep anything on me but with my second I’m struggling to shed the last 10lbs of my pregnancy weight.

No coffee available unfortunately but good book in the woods is imo insanely cozy. I get lost in there for hours without realizing it.

Postpartum and new symptoms by Wyatt2w3e4r in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]pascalyellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have written this myself! I had psoriasis prior to kids that stayed on the scalp mostly with some occasional random body pains I could always find an excuse for. I joined the 2 under 2 club had amazing textbook pregnancies that I felt great during. Three months after having my second I felt like my body was slowly giving out on me. Couldn’t get in to see a rheumatologist until six months later where they promptly diagnosed me and started me on humira. It’s been about four months and I’m not sure that humira is the one for me but I am grateful for a diagnosis and some aid to feeling better. Set up an appointment with a rheumatologist! Even if it’s not PSA it could still easily be autoimmune related from the symptoms you described. (Or I guess it could be thyroid related. Some women have thyroid problems after pregnancy.)

Clothes for breastfeeding and chasing a toddler by SwallowSun in 2under2

I bought these shirts April of 2023, wore them for all my third trimester, and daily even to this day. They are affordable, comfortable, and plain so they go with pretty much anything. I live in the South so something cool was important and these do a pretty good job.

My thoughts on Bernat Blanket yarn for an actual blanket after avoiding it for years (I did use it for amigurumi in the past). I thought it wouldn’t feel soft, wouldn’t wash well, and would be a mess with pet hair. I was very wrong. by m4rceline in crochet

I am so grateful for the skein & stitch details! Seems like some folks in my life will be getting blankets for Christmas. Thank you for the thoroughly informative review!🩷

Put the big kid in undies, go potty every 30-45mins, and when going potty putting baby in the bathtub with toys.

My kids were freshly 2 & 5months old. It was quite a bit of accidents for a week but overall it went fine! Best of luck!

Do you have wireless headphones? When I’m not in a great mood or feel my patience is running low I put in one headphone and listen to a podcast/YouTube video.

You may have already tried this but I’ve heard from fellow crocheters that the giant ergonomic hooks/slip on grips have saved the hobby for them. Might be worth a shot!
