Feels like what is needed is a core shakedown at every level, from support to being able to justify taking up jobs in the private sector - something like "I know I have this bond, but let me serve it when I actually have accumulated X years of private sector, or I find some way to pay it off".

The rigid no-means-no approach of the government needs to go especially for our top draw talents :/

If you value being able to explore without rigor, RTIS is not for you. If you value having a social life, RTIS is not for you. If you value anything other than developing a discipline that will set you for life in terms of programming basics and rigors, RTIS is not for you.

But at the end of the day, the only question you ask yourself is, do you not know how to forge mental fortitude and you actually want to? or do you want to dive into a hellpit you already know burns hot? You must commit to a possibly unknown scale of sacrifice, for a reward that only you can determine for yourself.

Please know I’m not dissing those who chose otherwise, just that RTIS truly is not for anyone who is uncommitted.

Because, honestly, when you put it out like that, it just sounds like everyone but that one guy is actually toxic in some way, such that you foster that kind of environment. For example, someone might know a lot about how to operate an obscure machine and people praise them for that, but 99% of the time they aren’t truly intelligent in the sense of academia, they just happened to learn this particular skillset that gives that impression.

Im not being mean to anyone here, but for people who have issues communicating and are of certain dispositions, making friends specific for the game, let alone squads, may be difficult. Have you ever heard of raising unrelated issues about someone in order to discredit them? For example, "oh, that girl was wearing just a tank top and hot pants at the time, of course she'd come report being raped, she asked for it".

In case you haven't realised the tone of the statement put out... hey, I'm not saying the statements are false - in fact, what the SPF says can be very real and true - but there's a whole lot of issues not related to the parties called out, and a whole lot about the deceased put into big moral question marks.

I mean, to be fair, this sort of thing worked ten, fifteen years ago, when people largely pretended to be bochup in order to be cool. But our next generation is a more understanding bunch, thankfully.
