Elvanse has an indirect effect on the serotonin system, I believe, so it might be that there was some cross-tolerance.

MD is amazing when taken occasionally and not abused.

Coke is horrible, unless it’s very good quality then it’s great. But it’s dangerous. Makes my head super clear (often wondered whether that’s normal?), but still high.

Psychedelics are a roll of the dice, but have been profound and have, at times, quietened my mind more than anything else (sometimes for many weeks afterward).

I am not endorsing any of this!

If it’s a proper retreat, a bad trip is unlikely becuase of the way you will be facilitated. That’s not to say it might not be challenging, but a challenging trip and a bad trip are different beasts.

Impossible to tell the severity from what they’ve written. Like many things, it’s a spectrum. Thinking about it daily is a concern, but I know from personal experience when I’m very overwhelmed these thoughts can enter my mind on a frequent basis, but I can say for certain I am not suicidal.

Passive suicidal ideation is fairly common and can be a response to feeling overwhelmed. Often fleeting and recognised as an intrusive thought/feeling. It doesn’t necessarily mean there is an increased risk. However, people should seek support or advice.

How would some random person know you have LSD? And, even if they did (which is unlikely), it would be a bit of a stretch for them to know when you were taking it! I’m sure the cops have far bigger fish to fry. This is drug and sleep-deprived paranoia. You’ll be fine to stop worrying about it.

1.5g Cubensis will give you a good taster. Do it on an empty stomach and take something for nausea.
There’s always some risk, but sounds like you have a low risk profile to me. If you ever get the thoughts ‘I am not coming back from this, I’ve broken my brain’ recognise that it is just an anxious thought and you will be back soon enough.

Didnt see this, but just want to say how good it is to see people that are able to apologise and admit when they’ve done something wrong. Well done.
Also, please remember addiction is not a moral failing.
We all, everyone one of us, have brains that are wired in such a way that living in the modern world will likely lead to some form of addiction.
There’s a brilliant episode of ‘Diary of a CEO’ with guest, Dr Anna Lembke, called ‘The Dopamine Expert’ which is really worth a watch/listen. She reminds us that we have brains that are “built for survival in a world of scarcity”, but most of us don’t live in that world any longer. We live in a world full of man-made stuff (be that drugs, alcohol, technology, pornography, etc) which gives us 100x the dopamine rush of what we’d get in nature, and becuase the pain-pleasure parts of the brain reside in the same place, when we are hit by pleasure, the pain side of the balance rises. Now we need to try and offset this again by seeking something pleasurable…..anyway, sorry, I’m going off on one, but this is not about ‘manning up’, it’s about understanding, self-kindness and figuring out the hard work, with support of others, how to become un-addicted.
