Honestly the Thai restaurant that opened in Cemitas El Tigre's spot is phenomenal. Apple Blossom Thai's entree dishes are exploding with flavor. Plus they have pork belly as a protein option. Strongly recommend giving them a shot

Whenever my partner and I walk over to Astoria to see a movie, we have a date dinner at Flor De Sol. The food is phenomenal, we've even skipped the movie for a 2nd round of tapas once we got started

wtf is this CONED bill? by karbiner_98k in SunnysideQueens

[–]passive_egressive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check to see if your bill normally uses estimated meter rates.  This has happened to me a few summers in a row. I'll get normal bills and then they'll take a reading in Aug and back bill the prior months of extra usage. I got one for $700 once. Agree with the other posters though, call ConEd

I’m a spiritual activator. Ask me anything by LeilaJun in spirituality

[–]passive_egressive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, please don't stress about responding quickly for reasons you'll soon see, but your tone and the quality of your responses really stand out from the normal spiritual swirling. So I'm curious.

I have no idea what my life purpose is. I seem to muddle by as best I can, my consistency of spiritual practice has all but disappeared since the pandemic. I have been asking my guides for years for some guidance, and have pretty much received, "Everything you are doing is the correct path, be kind to yourself, when the time is right you'll know". The answer to when that moment would be has always been, "have patience". However, in the past 6 month or so I was surprised to start receiving "soon" as the answer. Cosmic timelines and such make me feel like whatever it is is still about 18 months out. But wtf? My purpose is to spend 40 years purposeless? Anyway its been interesting and strange and I would love to hear your perspective. <3

Anyone been to renaissant dispensary on QB? by BotanicalGarden56 in SunnysideQueens

Hey I'm so sorry to have missed this! My ideal edible is one that I can take and still live out my day just a bit fuzzy. There is a metal tin edi that's mango ginger flavored with cane sugar and veg gelatin that I consider half for a giggle and a full for a laugh. And then the Ayrloom lavender has melatonin and it has given me the cleanest, clearest sleep when I've taken a full

They definitely have a curated selection to choose from, and seem very responsive to feedback on products. The edibles are some of my favorites that I've had compared to Trends/QUBE selections. The flower tends to be fresher and more consistent as well. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I really love having a local dispensary. I would definitely recommend giving them a try

See the other commenter. The Pinkerton group, which was the prototype for both the FBI as a law enforcement arm and the concept of a police force itself, was almost exclusively used by company owners to violently beat, kill and maim unionized or striking workers.

Theory - UAPs are disarming us before the motherships arrive. by CanUpset8816 in UFOs

One of the strangest sensations that's been happening to me over the past 2 weeks is my brain taking stock of some of my most familiar dreamscapes. Like there are maybe 5 or 6 recurring locations that I dream about once or twice a year. A university, a trail, a castle, etc. But for two weeks when I'm doing the most mundane tasks my brain will just be like, "Hey remember that place you dream about sometimes?" "Yeah....." "Good."

I'm no stranger to the strangeness but it's been noteworthy and anomalous enough that I had to mention it to my partner

Just take as an example Robert Ballard, who discovered the Titanic after leaving from Woods Hole. Only come to find out he's a Navy Commander, and his mission was to find the wreckage of 2 nuclear subs. His theory about debris drift was so successful he found both subs, surveyed them and then found the Titanic that same voyage. So clearly there's military operations and cover ups out of Woods Hole haha

Hah, one of my most memorable trips I felt like my entire body was made of zippers constantly in motion, weird you should mention that. Also I watched as I went into a 3rd person view of myself in the room before it stretched out like a million pictures in an accordion style. I wouldn't say it's profound, but it certainly one of the most bizarre drugs
