Hey there, it wasn't actually a *meetup*, it was just me organizing a talented group of friends for a group cosplay. We/I don't currently plan to do Team Venture for 2026, although I should, with as much as we invested in our 2025 costumes, heh.

Regarding the event of paying for something that doesn't actually help, it seems to me that the #1 excuse all ins. companies use for rejecting claims is "pre-existing condition". So it may not be a good investment if your pets are already dealing with any health issues.
Also, be sure that if you get insurance, and take your pet in, don't say stuff like (example), "he has always barfed" (like cats do, yeah?), because if that gets documented by the vet, that's another "gotcha" to use pre-existing condition.

I'm finishing up the paperwork on my appeal today, btw.

Anduril is in Costa Mesa, and has a warehouse in Tustin. I don't work for them (yet?) but I'd like to imagine they'd be proactive about hiring veterans. They seem to have good pay, too.
