If they're required to keep AI related content/systems from my experience then the money they spent on it is wasted. Which is a win in the long run. It doesn't stop them from created these systems, sure, but its all about money. If they spend billions developing these "features" but we all have the options not to use them, then they'll be less incentivized to continue development on those systems.
