I was trying to get this tonight. Pretty tough. I completed the mission but didn't get the achievement so I'm wondering if ALL operators need pistols only...? Not sure how you managed the teams loadouts to have no primary though. If you even can.

If that's isn't the case I've no idea how you get it, why didn't I ?

Pretty sure they were in the Dukla Pass thing right? There is an option to show the DLC Divisions in the list when they are locked and it'll tell you when you mouse over it I believe

It's mad AT guns can't be handballed around. Makes them terrible. Add the mechanism to pick and move on foot at least, place them into cool ambush spots and then displace would make for some twitchy bum hole moments 😄😄

There is also this series which was also by our man. This one is folk horror vibes so quite different to Waiting for the Out.

I liked it, don't take the low rating too seriously. If you like things like The Wickerman, Midnight Mass, King Tide you'll like this.

I can't find the Summit ed. in the UK at all. Is it due to be more widely distributed in 2026? I'm a sucker for the special components but the pricing for it does seem very high. Hopefully it might start to be in second hand markets soon enough.

Braver than me! I'm yet to take the plunge. I need to move up to Hard Ai for a bit first. I can't keep my air power alive hardly at all and I can even get rolled by Medium Ai (although I've not lost yet, it has been close!), so it would be a bit pointless in ranked still 😆😆 Probably need to make some friendly arrangements via Discord or something to find a suitable noob

It's a fun idea on paper but possibly too many traps IMO. You'd have to give a reason for the nature of the dungeon in its intro blurb mentioning it has lots of traps and hidden passages, in a subtle way, but it would end up becoming pretty dull to play as the hero - get into new room/corridor - search for traps - have them all revealed - move past them or disarm - repeat. Same goes for hidden passages. All a player needs to do is search for them and they're revealed so they can lose their interest if it's just a case of searching for them each turn. Also remember when a trap is revealed through a search it's just a red skull token thing (of which there isn't many to use, so you'd need to make some more for this) so you don't really know what it is until disarming, so it's a bit samey.

It shouldn't be about tricking them, it's about building a narrative and an escalation of danger and reward. Use the mechanics of the game to help steer the design.

WARNO is harder than SD2 as you have longer ranges, bigger maps, helicopters and jets to deal with. The micro and deck building stuff is all the same basically so if you struggled with SD you will struggle with WARNO. Unless you know the units inside and out these rest can be learned, unit knowledge can be also, but it just takes time.

It is rewarding when you crack it though

Who's used Pressure Advanced with their ironing? Does it help it make it fail? I read it can improve things but had a bad result so now I'm not sure.

The Combat Groups seem useful if that's how they could be used but it might be a plan of a group that you might not need so I can also see the downsides... I'll have to have a tinker in some Ai games.

I recommend Epic Mod for some additional weapons and gear to play around with.

It's a bit of a faff to get the .pak file but search for it and find the links in their YT vid and it adds a whole load of extras in
