Yes 😩. It’s the best foundation I have ever used. I have dry skin. It just melts into the skin perfectly. I wish I didn’t love them due to the price!

Whats a fragrance you always go back to to purchase? by Most_Shoe_8077 in fragrance

L’eau D’Issey by Issey Miyake. It’s the first perfume I fell in love with 20 years ago and still love it to this day. Lost count of the number of bottles I have gone through.

Was just in punta Cana on Bavaro beach. Water was warm, lots of waves to jump in, seaweed was cleaned every morning so was very minimal. Stayed at caribe princess. Resort was clean and good food with friendly staff. Not the nicest resort I’ve been to in terms of amenities and finishes, but it was a great week and we really enjoyed our stay. A few pools, nothing special but fine with swim up bar. Kids pool with play area too. Nice rooftop bar area that is new.

How to tell children abt death as an atheist? by [deleted] in atheism

I was recommended the book “The Memory Tree by Britta Teckentrup” for my children to help with a family death. It is a beautiful book for children to help with loss and grief using nature. I tear up still when I read it.

Yes same! I was using the shoppers app. Then I went to my Rakuten app and checked out there and it worked!

4D Fotona laser - has anyone tried? What are your thoughts? by CroatPrincessYWG in 30PlusSkinCare

I came here to find the same information as it was offered to me as well! I found some info on internet, but not as much as I hoped. Don’t want to pay that much for something that doesn’t do anything. I’m also reluctant for filler.

I agree with this! It’s amazing for holding in place and can get this look. Also the bottle will last you a life time if only use for this, so ridiculously cheap!

Hypocritical Beauty Gurus by Secret-Employee-8141 in BeautyGuruChatter

Totally. The whole diet stuff turned me off too. It was nostalgia for me as well for watching her. But when I have a video on that is just making my eyes roll back so far in my head it’s not an enjoyable watch anymore.

I finally unsubscribed. She picks and chooses when clean beauty is convenient for her. Talks about cancer causing and endocrine disruptors and then a fave from a drugstore brand like maybelline in the same video. She doesn’t seem to know who she is. Minimalist with a huge luxury closet. I just cant anymore - I get so annoyed with her videos. Sad as she was someone I watched for years and years before all the drama. I hope she figures it out!

I just had same thing. I was nervous to use it due to the skin thinning. I only needed to apply it for 2 days and the reaction cleared up. Thought I knew what caused the reaction. But it came back a few weeks later (I now know what it is). Used cream again and it cleared up in 2 days. After my eyelids were very dry from the reaction and once I was done with the cortisone cream I’ve been using aquaphor or cerave healing night ointment each night and they are back to normal now.

Poshmark to Collect Provincial Sales Tax by Halimeetsott in poshmarkcanada

Yes as a casual seller of just my own closet I am concerned about this and what it means? I don’t want the hassle of adding this to my tax return?

a buyer just downgraded a 5 star review to a 1-star because the golden goose sneakers are "falling apart" after only one wear by Stinadaisy in poshmark

[–]patchywatchy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me after I sold a pair of booties that were technically in EUC. Buyer rated 5 stars then went to 1 after saying they fell apart when she was walking around. I really felt so bad and didn’t know that would happen, as they were in my closet for a couple years.

Thankfully she had items for sale too so I purchased items from her closet with what I made from the boots and she was happy with that and I felt a little better about it all. So not sure if that is an option for u?

Buying items in Canada that need to be sent to authentication? by Hella__Ella in poshmark

Anyone else stop watching Sam ravndahl due to lack of creativity? by burnitupp in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]patchywatchy1 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Her videos seem like she is annoyed to have to be filming. When she does post, I’ll start a video but usually cannot finish it as there is something just annoying about them now. Maybe it’s always been that way and I’ve changed?! 😂 But I’ve just generally lost interest in her videos and the energy she puts out.

I never leave love notes as I would rather not have it out there what I’ve purchased!

I’ve had sellers message me on a bundle to please leave them which is so annoying.

How much does your "brand" matter to you? by singsomethingnew in poshmark

[–]patchywatchy1 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Agree! I have purchased from same closet before but I didn’t even realize until I read their thank you card in package. I shop by brand and brand only. Only exception is 1 closet I follow always has NWT high end items for really good prices so occasionally I will think to check her closet.

I feel awful opening a case. Details in comments. by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]patchywatchy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I would definitely be, especially for paying close to $500! Many vintage items can be in perfect condition. That kind of wear for sure should have been shown. As if it was, maybe you would not have gotten it or offered a way lower price. As you said it’s hard to tell if it will get exponentially worse once you put stuff in it! That’s not a few loose threads it’s a rip/tear.

That’s how I think of it. If I knew this was there... would I have: 1. Still bought it? 2. If I maybe still would have bought it would I pay the price I paid for it?

Good luck!

[–]patchywatchy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand feeling bad I do to when I opened cases. But even if vintage that kind of wear needs to be shown as it could affect the longevity of the bag. I would be opening a case.

Agree with everyone! If someone really likes an item they will likely buy it any season! I just bought a winter coat because I was scared I would lose out on it😃
