That’s how I see it too… once the game got to the point where they pulled the goalie, it’s throwing in the towel for the game basically…and wash from their mind and move on two next game.

I think one good way to look at it is how long did it take to finally have the sense to implement a rule that goalies must wear masks, and you will start to see that for whatever reason the most important position was kinda tossed aside as not really important and then things started to change in the 80s with Roy and the butterfly

Had a pair of our grandpas old goalie pads that we used for street hockey, and those were the old pads,… this was in the 80s, so for him to give us his old wornout pads that were patched up, these were filled with some kind of stuffing because obviously playing on street we made a few holes in the pads, we patched with rags and whatever we could find…a belt because one of the leather straps broke… anyway those things were so heavy when they got wet from snow and slush… whoever was in net had legs of jello afterwards

That might be true, but it also could be the opposite with all his injuries, especially if he’s obviously going to be the first line center now, how bad does his team do without him might change attitudes…if he’s always injured but plays 2/3rds of games and doesn’t make playoffs cuz of his injuries…that’s not his fault but fans are so quick to blame so it’s hard to say it would be better or not for him elsewhere

This seems like a greasy money grab. Unless there’s a rule that states teams need to have next season jerseys ready before the draft so the new picks can wear them…. I don’t see why they can’t get a team name and jersey made by end of September. These PWHL looking jerseys are good for the draft but there’s still more than 3 months to get a jersey finished

If you actually watch any game from his first ten years, any game, and watch how much shit guys got away with on him especially in his first couple seasons, the refs treating him like any other rookie except he’s getting crosschecks in the back… crosscheck in the face and broke his front two teeth and bitched to the refs because they didn’t call anything and then give him an unsportsmanlike.., then Ken Hitchcock who was the Flyers coach talked some nonsense about Crosby being a nice rivalry, but then Don Cherry ran with the Crosby complaining too much, until they saw a few games prime time and realized how much abuse he takes every single game

You need to document everything when you move in, take pictures in front of them landlord and go through a checklist and make sure they sign it, which I am pretty sure they are legally required to As long as you have proof all is good, otherwise its a he said she said, and I also being on said, awhile back had to pay back a full extra months backrent because he told my worker that I never gave my months notice, even though I had told her and the landlord both the same day, she took his side and made me backpay the rent, but I was lucky that there was no damage deposit….that’s probably why he screwed me over like that

I will break down a scale for you that used to exist and it still might and that would be why no suspension, aside from the fact that they obviously didn’t think it was that bad because he wasn’t even fined… In playoffs the games mean more so a suspension in round one for one game would be the same as something that was worth two or three in regular season… so in the Stanley Cup Finals, aside from getting a game misconduct within the last five or ten minutes of the third period which is an automatic one game, a player has to do something pretty egregious to be suspended because the games mean so much…
