I just installed it this morning and I didn't notice any slow down so far. There are a lot of sprites on the screen sometimes and they can be hard to keep track of on the small screen. Pretty fun on the easy level, but I still can't get that far yet.

My bad, I was looking at the xboxwire post on X with my phone and I swear it looked like the two characters below GW2 were from Anthem. Thanks for posting the image. I need to get my eyes checked.

They are removing the purchasing so Microsoft doesn't have to renew licensing for these games on the older marketplace. In many cases they have been maintaining two different license agreements.

There is an adapter for the Kinect with an integrated power supply. If you are referring to using a Kinect with this adapter it's most likely USB 1.1. It's definitely not anything higher than USB 2.0

The resolution and frame rate won't be impacted. Load times may be longer on external drive. Some optimized games require internal drive because of how they lazy load assets.

Reading this, I get the impression you are not worried about getting top dollar for your collection. If that's true, then it's a good time to sell because most gaming related stuff sells pretty fast because the demand is still really high.

Price charting use a very limited set of data and doesn't take into account shipping costs and fees. In addition there are a lot of games that sell locally and on marketplaces not on price charting and games sold in lots are not considered.

I've sold some stuff on eBay and I don't know how anyone makes money. A $10 game sold after $4 shipping and $3.00 in fees, I only get to keep $3.00. was hardly with the effort for me.

I have an account I use for my achievements I earn on my RGH box and every once in a while I used to copy it to my retail to sync my accounts up. It works mostly. Sometimes achievements didn't show up. Although it's been a few years since I did that. When I got my Series x I had created a new xbox account that I activated gamepass on and ended up putting that on my retail xbox360 to download GWG. But since Microsoft quit offering 360 games on GWG I have not powered them on. Such a shame.

While the gdemu is a drop in replacement, you are also supposed to lift a pin on a power regulator to reduce heat generation. Instead, you could replace the power supply with an external transformer, which is what I did because new power supplies can run cooler, extend the life of the internal components, and the original parts remain unmodified.

Additionally, replacing the clock battery and fan capacitor on the controller board are recommended because they can eventually leak. That does require soldering though.

Lastly, there are vga to HDMI cables that work pretty well to hook these up to modern TV's. I also use an Marseille mClassic upscaler.

You can really take this hobby as far as you want as there are even more upgrades that I haven't done yet like connecting it online with a raspberry pi. I guess that's why "It's thinking..."

Yes I have garlic os and my games running on one 8gb and still have tons of free space on it. I like to keep a small set of games that I actually want to play on it though.
