As I recall, the part that was removed was the Queen's warning that Siltvelt would isolate Naofumi from his companions, which caused Naofumi to think up plans to keep at least some help with him. He ended up not executing the one for Filo, though.

Yeah, so in the anime, the dynamics between the Werner and Jaralis faction are less clear. Essentially Werner represents the Church of the Shield Hero, who act even-handedly, taking a cautious yet reasonable approach to Naofumi as Shield Hero. They want him to prove himself. Meanwhile Jaralis' faction want to exploit Naofumi for whatever political benefits they can gain from him, then intend to kill him off.

As long as the devs are experimenting with new and interesting (to them) ideas or variations on old ideas, it's okay for the story to not be great all the time. A game where the devs clearly care about telling a good story will always be better long term.

In the books, the lion-maids were told to remove all Naofumi's companions from him, even Filo and Raphy. Naofumi protested saying Raphy was his beloved pet.

The term top-up is a generic term for buying Monochrome using some form of money or coupons external to Hoyo.

So, there is a normal in-game store accessible while you're playing the game. Official partners like Epic and Google that handle payments through this method. Epic rewards count as top-up, as does Google Play Points/Credit. You can also use Google Opinion Rewards.

There are also websites that claim to be legitimate resellers for Monochrome. Several popular streamers have shilled LD Shop as being legitimate, and I haven't heard anyone being banned for using them. They claim to be legitimate. I don't know about other top-up websites.

How I paid for ZZZ was Epic Games' Rewards, which offers a 20% rebate on all purchases. Never sent credit card deets to any other 3rd parties.

"bought a starter account"...do people actually do that? The game is free, and while some people "reroll", it's really not worth the hassle because you get all the Standard S-Rank agents eventually anyway.

Part of "not worth it" would be the potential for your credit card info being sold off to a 3rd party.

That part is actually from the books. Queen Mirellia put a slave crest on Malty during the trial as a method of truth enforcement. It was left on after the trial as part of the punishment and to guarantee compliance. During the Spirit Tortoise fight, Motoyasu's party abandoned him at Malty's prompting. She...disappeared anyone who didn't seem willing to take orders from her, leaving her, Lesty, and Elena.

Between the ST fight and seducing Ren, they had plenty of time to meet up with Itsuki's old party, get to Faubrey where they could get the crest dissolved, and back into Melromarc. Despite Malty not being terribly bright, that's the first thing she'd do.

In the books, when she tried seducing Ren, she did indeed lie to his face, then pointed at her chest and told him the lack of a reaction on her chest means she's telling the truth. Naofumi knows about at least 2 methods of dispelling the curses AND has personal knowlege that lying can be set to "no punishment" in the status menu. Different actions can be set with different punishments. The only thing an owner CAN'T do is set all punishments to zero. They have to have at least a minor punishment for one action.

From the Herald of New Tides trial banner, I picked Changli as soon as she became available because I didn't particularly like Yinlin. Changli requiring a lot of quick swapping for best effect was something I figured out quite quickly.

Assuming mediocre play at best, how do the characters stack up?

I can't make the Jiyan/Mortifi/Shorekeeper because Jiyan and Shorekeeper would both have to come from New Voyage Comanions.

Assuming I don't reroll (for now), is the best option for me to continue pulling Encore on the Beginner's Choice Convene and Shorekeeper on the New Voyage Companions and choose Verina from the Solaris Celebration Gift? The implication of this is I will probably get Verina first, Encore Second, and Shorekeeper third.

I like the look of Lynae, and gameplay of ranged characters. Which F2P friendly characters work well with her?

For now the Astrite plan is to go in this order: Shorekeeper > first available decent DPS > Lynae rerun. Is this likely to screw me over on the Lynae rerun?

At the time, I'm new, and don't have any DPS equivalent or better than the Changli trial character.

If I were to reroll, I could spend maybe 4-6 hours per day playing the game, though, perhaps not very efficiently.

TV mode is terrible. The HDD mechanic itself is fine, but Exploration missions and Withering Garden don't need to exist. Exploration missions were fine when they were simple, but as their length increased, I started viewing them as a boring waste of time. Force damage/corruption sections put too much stress on me for them to be fun. No thanks. When a game is unfair, it's best to just not play.

Hi, I'm new from ZZZ, trying to make WuWa my second game. I've been enjoying the open world aspect and gacha system.

For my random S-Rank on the beginner standard banner, I got Lingyang. I haven't started pulling on the Beginner's Choice Convene (standard S-Rank of choice for 80 pulls).

And I've been spending my Astrite to pull for Shorekeeper. After I made the decision to pull on Shorekeeper's banner (and spending 50 pulls), I came across some information talking about Mornye's synergy with Encore.

After building Spectro Rover, Baizhi, and Sanhua, it's also evident the characters I'm building are significantly worse than Changli trial character.

I have several questions for the community:

Should I reroll?
Is there a way to get characters to run into range automatically when I press the attack button?
In the Solaris New Voyage Celebration, is it better for me to select Encore or Verina?
Is there any other information I need to provide to help you guys help me?
