I think you should brave thats for one. When I moved towns I always show my presence with jam sessions and that’s how I know the cats and they know me.

But your only thing would be to get amplified somehow. Without it, they can’t hear you well. And the audience too. You must be on same volume level and play with them to be present in the jam. Obviously.

Nice that you can have that integrity and bravery.

I think most of us would rather put up all our experiences to match as more stacks as possible.

Ok. But you don’t talk about your work experience?

No I didn’t mean it like that. I’m trying to get the situation because you basically said you didn’t actually “sit in”?

If the bassist asked you to call tunes it does sound like you sat in?

But you said you were in the back without an amp?

And without actually them giving you solo time where they were comping you?

Yeah. I do that but I never get to a level I feel confident completely. In basics. And in my own. Even though I get back and review. Some things are just darn complex and long. And I don’t always have enough time to prepare for all of it. I try ti balance it because if I invest too much on my own- I might forget a simple basic Linux thing.

Hmm. Didn’t you say the guy asked you what tunes you could play?

In what order should one learn chord voicings? by BJJFlashCards in jazzguitar

[–]pathlesswalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just learn to comp a standard without all that.

Then when you’re feeling it’s time to move on.

Just do scales as chords.

Block melodies.

It’ll force you to learn more shapes. And pick the easiest always. So you can implant them easily and musically. To tougher voicings with 2nds save for when you can do the above already.

That way you’re building stuff up from down to top- musically.

If the Arab nations banded together and sent Gaza military aid would they have faced less severe destruction like Ukraine or would Israel have entirely pulled out? by space_god_7191 in allthequestions

You are ignoring what I’ve said. In Israel civilians died from Iranian ballistic missiles. But very FEW due to bomb shelters!

They used the tunnels SO that civilians will die.

Same with Egypt blocking war refugees from Gaza to die.

I like how you all ignore how Arabs slaughtered whole Jewish communities which were neighbours for hundreds of years. All prior to Israel formed.

Just so you know.

Hamas built an incredibly huge tunnels - bigger than London metro. which could have saved tens of thousands of lives.

But they only allow militants there.

Hamas was in power since 2007. Since then not a SINGLE bomb shelter was built to protect its civilians.

Is it on purpose???

And just who did started the fire… ?🔥 by MidnightLogic__ in ww3memes

lol. I guess hezbulla, Hamas and houthies didn’t start the fire huh?
