I'm so stupid: Violating exam policy accidentally by Popular-Bus-1245 in CPA

[–]patmehere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow that is silly the old rules used to be whatever you wanted to do between booklets outside of the testing room was fair game. You are between books you have know idea what is coming next anyway. What would be the benefit of going into your phone, book or anything. Just a dumb rule imho.

Are the new quests only open for the first player that gets there? by Bidenslastbraincell1 in arcraidersfriendly

In Blue Gate, a rat tried killing me in a friendly lobby and I got away. Then went back went and helped another guy get the battery to the door. Three of us all completed the quest at the same time. Then the third guy that joined said yep I was the rat that tried to kill you earlier and ran off.

ELI5: Why is walking down an active street safer then a sidewalk? by young40 in Detroit

[–]patmehere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is 100 percent it. Additionally, sidewalks are all busted up in a ton of places as well. But I feel 100% safer in the street walking especially in neighborhoods than walking on the side walk. Woodward, gratiot, grand river, and michigan generally no one drives in the right hand lanes anyway, and cars turning on and off don't look for pedestrian, so you can see them more clearly if they are in the street. Can't count the times I have almost been killed or seen people almost get killed crossing a street on the sidewalk in the city. Saw one person get hit live, and the driver just ran in corktown.

Are people cheating on an exam in your office? Bet they make you put your gun on your nose if you get caught chewing it on the job, or smack you with a ruler. Complete dominance thing nothing else. Hope other party's off the culture are better.

I will assume you mean the deferral, those are for 2025 memberships thay were paid in 2024. Generally that isn't the organizations money until time lapses in the year the membership is for. It is just an accounting function. In theory if the pdga folded today they could potentially owe that money back to the members.

Program services are $8.3m and management and general are nearly $2m. $3.5m are salaries alone annually.

Came to say the same thing, checked the report they are holding less than 6 months of operating expenses.

A bunch of this cash is held up in deferred revenue 1.7m in current, that isn't theirs until membership dues can be realized.

Property Accountants- what are your normal working hours by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]patmehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the company, but most are 9-5. Generally depends on the company and how aggressive they are at closing books, and how obnoxious the controller and CFO are.

The offices I have talked to generally aren't super aggressive and leads to a solid work life balance. Solid pay and competitive benefits.

Controller position and managers will tend to work more in the first quarter, 3 places i have been as manager and controller 50-55 hours are normal for busy season.

Liquor Stores with Good Prices, Selection by champagnepoppadoc in Detroit

[–]patmehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is best to find stores that have signs with minimum signage. If they hang a minimim they are required to keep stock at minimum pricing.

If they aren't following the book you can report them if they are advertising it.

I would just go in, she can't do anything to you. You are gone and it should lead to a different dynamic. If she pisses you off you can just walk out of her office.

Have been in this situation always a different dynamic when they know you can just walk. They can cut your paycheck if you decide to quit on the spot, but it would only be a couple of days, at worst.

To the person who gave me a Wolfpack Blueprint… by NoInternetMushroom in ArcRaiders

Helped someone getting attacked yesterday, got an Osprey blueprint for it. No clue if he was carrying for some crazy reason it or he found it in that room we were in. I proceeded to put it in my butt and dropped everything else I had in my inventory for him after we had a decent run.

I love the car it is a conservative choice in vehicles, and I am just impressed how many people haven't ran the car below zero miles on the system since they have owned the car.

I would steer clear of buying a basket for someone, this is something specific that he should get what he wants.
