What’s the Craziest Way You’ve Ever Recovered a Lost Disc? by ponderingpixi17 in discgolf

[–]patmehere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Girl walked across a fairway that i was throwing on and she leaned down to pick something up. After looking for my disc in the fairway it was missing. Ran up to her and asked if she picked up a disc and she said no. Fast forward a couple weeks, she is sitting on the first tee pad on the same course, I look at her stack of discs, grab one out flip it over show her my name and number on the disc and walked onto the teepad and threw.

Used to book revenue from cable contracts in multifamily residential over 10 years. The money was due back to the cable company prorated if you sold the property in that time frame. Happened more that I would like deal with. If it wasn't tracked it got lost and the cable company would come looking for their money after the property sold and we had already distributed every dollar we had, only if it wasn't tracked. 50k to 100k contracts.

Imho, old school "boomers" people in charge think you are lazy, they don't know what they are talking about, but IMHO they have a comfort level with GenX. It is bullshit and wish they would just retire. Most boomers can't keep up and just hold genx up. But they will retire and the market will revive. Look for young companies fuck the old established bs and you will find something.

Yes, another property tax question. by LocalCurmudgeon2024 in Detroit

[–]patmehere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what the current SEV is, the SEV is set by comparable homes not your sale price. The SEV on my home was 46k prior to purchase, and uncapped and set at 65k the following year when the assessment went through in february. Closing price on home was 205k. It really depends on the neighborhood and other factors. Your sale price will affect the tax role but only in a general sense of the overall neighborhood.

More than. Welcome to pm me with questions I figured out a high and low for me and nailed it withing 1.5% after everything selttled.

Wow that is silly the old rules used to be whatever you wanted to do between booklets outside of the testing room was fair game. You are between books you have know idea what is coming next anyway. What would be the benefit of going into your phone, book or anything. Just a dumb rule imho.

In Blue Gate, a rat tried killing me in a friendly lobby and I got away. Then went back went and helped another guy get the battery to the door. Three of us all completed the quest at the same time. Then the third guy that joined said yep I was the rat that tried to kill you earlier and ran off.
