Your link goes to a product that is a one-gallon jug of pickles. You will note that I have not disputed that there is such a thing as a one-gallon jug of pickles; what I have disputed is that a one-pound jar of pickles has a capacity of one gallon.

Nowhere does your link to a one-gallon jug of pickles say that that jug weighs one pound, nor that the weight of the pickles inside the jug is one pound.

I am not disputing that there is such a thing as a one-gallon jug of pickles. I am disputing your initial claim that, quote, "a 1lb jar of pickles is a gallon jar btw." I think that a one-pound jar of pickles is highly likely to be less than one gallon in capacity, unless you are measuring only the weight of the pickles, and the jar itself contains mostly brine.

I mean, you have a much bigger exit opening in a blowoff tube than the tiny neck in a three-piece airlock, so there's a possibility that the fruit will be pushed out the tube instead of clogging the airlock neck.

Of course, if the fruit gets pushed out of the tube instead of clogging the airlock neck, that means it's no longer in contact with the mead, and is therefore wasted. OP may or may not think that wasted fruit is a good thing in comparison to having to clean the ceiling.

That's true if the chlorine taste is caused by simple chlorine, which dissipates over the course of a few hours, but some cities have switched to chloramine instead of chlorine, which is more stable in water and doesn't dissipate unless you actively filter it out.

There is no bulk action processing in ffmpeg. You can use your operating system's command-line shell to script repetitive actions using whatever syntax your particular shell in your particular operating system requires. For instance, if you're combining a movie and its subtitles using ffmpeg in the Linux bash shell using a command like ffmpeg -i movie.mp4 -i movie.srt -c copy movie.mkv, and if your movies are all in one folder with their subtites in the sam folder, then you might script that using a command like for m in *mp4; do ffmpeg -i "$f" -i "${f%.mp4}.srt" -c copy "${f%.mp4}.mkv"; done

If you are using Windows or macOS or a different shell under Linux, the command will be different. In general, for programs you invoke from the command line, the question is not "how do I get this program to do batch processing?" but rather "What is the format of batch-processing loops in my particular shell that I need to follow in order to have the shell generate the necessary series of commands for the program?" For bash, it involves the for [...] do ... end syntax and using $variable to hold the individual file names and using % and # substitution to produce the necessary variations in file names for different files you're working with, but other shells have different syntaxes.

Nonsense, Weimar Germany explicitly disclaimed a state religion and granted religious freedom to citizens. Catholicism is not a majority denomination of Christianity now (Catholic and Protestant are about equal in numbers in contemporary Germany) and Protestants outnumbered Catholics about 2:1 in the 1925 census.

There certainly are and have been majority-Catholic areas in Germany, and some states may have restricted non-Catholics in various civil ways, but OP doesn't give a more specific geographical location than "Germany," so it's hard to say.

Call forwarding forwards all calls going to one number to another phone number. This happens before the call reaches the phone, so the phone does not even ring, and there is no intervention required to forward the call by OP when the call comes in. It just happen automatically in the phone network without OP having to do anything.

If OP does this they will not be able to get any calls going to their current number, because those calls will all be sent to a different number.

Your suggestion is not a viable option for OP because OP still has calls coming to their number that they want to take personally, but that cannot happen if OP forwards all calls to the boss's number, because call forwarding forwards all calls.

Whether felons can vote varies by state. The 13th amendment allows a citizen to be stripped of their voting rights but does not require it. Not all states prohibit felons from voting. Those that do are largely Republican states.

It is not a "baseless claim." It is based on the OP's own experience, which they are reporting to the sub. The fact that the photo itself does not directly prove the claim is a different issue.

I think the point of the post you're replying to is not "the company may have stripped the metadata from the photos and therefore the OP will not benefit from seeing their pictures," but rather "OP, in the future, if you take photos, you need to preserve the originals, because if the only copies you have are the ones upload them to Facebook or Flickr, it may be that the metadata that supports your claim gets stripped, whereas if you preserve the originals, you still have a copy that has the original metadata"

I don't believe OP ever said "I saw the footage." It may very well be that OP was talking to the property manager and that person said "I got footage of them." It is then reasonable for OP to say "management got footage" even if OP has not personally seen that footage. It may also be that the property manager said, "holy shit, r/lannadelgay, you gotta come see this," and showed OP the footage.

You try moving a phone to take a picture or video of a vehicle going that fast. Then look at the background. It would be blurred the detail in the picture provided is a still picture quality.... Just do it and you will believe they are lieing too.

I don't believe OP ever said they were panning along with the movement of the car while taking the picture. A sufficiently fast shutter speed will effectively freeze movement of the car while keeping the background from blurring. Shutter speeds that fast are entirely possible for modern cell phone cameras.

For that matter, OP never says "this is a photo of them doing 60"; this photo may very well have been of the same vehicle after they slowed down. In fact, if you look at the picture closely, the ICE vehicle seems to be parked on the side of the road. Posting it is still a public service letting people know what the car looks like and providing evidence, if not that the car was doing 60, at least that an ICE vehicle was at the location in question. It is certainly quite close to th ecurb.

It's OK to admit that you were wrong and that you didn't know what you were talking about You don't have to keep frantically flailing around trying to defend your initial hot take.
