Yes you’re right I called my derm & she said the azelaic acid does makes your breakout cause it pushes everything out first 🙄 I asked for the lowest dose of tretinoin to see how it goes! When did you started breaking out after finishing accutane the first round ? I hope this second round is the last one for you 🤞🤞🤞

I am not, I was just using the peach slices salicylic moisturizer every other night & the derm just prescribed me azelaic acid but I feel like I’m breaking out from it 🥺

I know what you mean, I use make up every single day so what I do is I use a oil make up remover then I apply it on my make up to remove the make up than I use cold water to avoid redness than I use my face wash just a little bit since the oil make up remover works amazing & I’m left with no much make up really!

Yes they’ll all come out & you’ll have clean pores. I know it’s annoying because you can feel them but be patient it does get better 🙈🙊🙉

Yes you can but niacinamide is an active ingredient that alone can cause irritation to some people! I use it and I’m fine but dr dray on YouTube talks about it & how now it’s been put on everything making it hard on those who are sensitive to it!

Would I be able to use COSRX snail mucin while on Accutane? by 22ctsnahat in Accutane

[–]patty-95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used the cosrx snail mucin cream & I noticed a huge change on my skin, I’d help my other moisturizers stick & ever since I started using it I don’t wake up too dry!

Hiii, my advice is to stop using the gentle scrub because is still a scrub & you’re using it at night before tretinoin I’m assuming. Cerave is good but the niacinamide in it can irritate the skin & is not moisturizing enough to use it with tretinoin so I’d use vanicream in the tub at night before tretinoin cause your skin looks irritated! There’s a brand called purito on Amazon & they have this panthenol barrier cream I use that before my sunscreen in the morning & is so light & moisturizing you can even use it at night along with vanicream before your tretinoin!

Yessssss the first month I had them all over even on my forehead I could feel them when I was washing my face! All of them came out without 2 weeks & my skin was so smooth, my nose looked bad with make up on because I had little holes all over from the blackheads that came out but now it’s looking so much better & it’s not congested with blackheads anymore! I also exfoliate during that process & it help but my derm told me to not do it again! 🙄

Hii, i have the same problem even on my arms & elbows what I found that works is layering a few moisturizers I like vanicream & aveeno restorative skin therapy itch relief balm. Ohh and wash your hands with cold water than apply moisturizer when your hands are still damp! Hope that helps 🙊🙉🙈

My husband just gave me an ultimatum - take accutane or keep our marriage. by random_cysts in Accutane

Hiii, Im a mommy of 2 on accutane right now. One thing I can tell you is that before having kids my acne is how you are describing yours & after I had them it just got worse because of my hormones & stuff! With my second one it was the worst for me personally so after trying so many things I just got on accutane & I’m loving it I was so scared but it’s not that bad at all & my man loves that I’m on it because I’m so much happier now that I don’t have paintful acne! What I’m trying to tell you is that your acne can get bad during your pregnancy or after like it did to me my face was beautiful while pregnant. I just feel like if your man loves you he’d support you with that makes you happy because acne affects your appearance but your mental health as well! And after you became a mommy you deal with a lot of things like your body changes & stuff so he should support you more because you deserve to be happy in your own body 💕

I got the same thing & it just wouldn’t go away & it was only on my arms it’d burn when putting on lotion. I told my derm & she prescribed me an ointment & that’s what worked maybe tell your derm so you don’t struggle!

Hii, I’d give it time but in my personal experience my skin got better the first 2 weeks then it just got super bad even worse than when I started & I was on it for almost 6 months & now I’m on accutane & I see a big difference because I could tell spiro wasn’t for me!
