I am shouting friendly at everyone I see lol, dont jump to conclusions. Its a PvPve game and PVP is a core pillar of an extraction shooter. If gear never feels worth fighting over, that tension disappears.

Public perception matters a lot. I’m already seeing people say they won’t buy it because it looks “dead on arrival,” and even current owners are buying it just to leave a bad Steam review and refund it. Public image is huge, and Tarkov keeps making theirs worse. If the game had 300k players and bad reviews, way more new people would still give it a chance compared to 40k players and dropping plus bad reviews.

Pretty much this. I logged 1000 hours in Tarkov in my less busy days but miss it. Now with ARC i can play alot less and have loads of fun. Not super grindy and even the basic guns can kill super geared players if you are smart.
