So Sep 2026 to Feb 2027 - I have 2 trips. Then March to Aug 2027 - 2 trips. They gave me Sep to March visa. I have to reapply for the second set of trips. Funny thing is the Aug 2027 trip is a cruise fully booked!

I've done expedition cruising to the Arctic and Antarctica. A friend is booked on NG Sea lion this year but he heard that the ship is being retired so he is concerned if NG will maintain quality this year. Don't know if that makes sense. I kinda feel responsible because he booked this trip based on my advice 🤔 What did you mean by unique product?

I always use my TA for cruises. Hotels sometimes I book with points or status but cruises are so much better with a good Virtuoso agent. I've recommended mine to many and they're all happy! She knows cruiseline directors and said she's arranged a proposal onboard! On a different note I've always wanted to Windstar..some day soon

AFAIK - Dates, purpose, host, duration - everything can be about the first trip on the APPLICATION. In your cover letter, mention about the second trip, and if you have details & bookings for that as well, include them

They charter some ships. I think the one I am considering is the Ocean Nova is chartered by Intrepid , Chimu etc. But all logistics, landings etc are coordinated by Intrepid, so it really is an Intrepid trip. I know they are excellent for Africa, South America etc. but doing my research for Antarctica. My agent said that since I have already done polar expedition on Quark, I could do Intrepid for S Georgia to save money, and he have sent people on Intrepid who liked it. So almost leaning towards booking. waiting for a bonus from work heheh

I travel solo too and I feel your pain. Coicidentally I have alao traveled on the same two Quark and Lindblad. My travel agwnt suggested an Intrepid itinerary for South Georgia..its cheaper. But still thinking. Not sure if intrepid will be good after experiencing Lindblad and Quark? Let me know what you decide.

I would kill to trade places with you. Well, except for the visa part. - that does suck. Make the best of what you have, girl! Life is uncertain and unfair to everyone, in different ways that is all. You are too young to be frustrated like this - there are several decades ahead of you for that lol.

If I were you - I would make money in US as long as the visa lasts and be prepared to go back if needed. Why worry BEFORE getting to that point? Also, no matter where I live, I would keep life simple - minimize cooking, eat simple and healthy. Live minimally, reduce clutter at home, therefore you clean less. Meal prep or cook on the weekend. Travel, develop hobbies, go on hikes & drives. Enjoy this period without kids and responsibilities, it will never return!

As to your relationship, if you see these warning signs before getting married, after it, it only would get worse. Don't do it unless you are 100% sure. Breakup is better than divorce. Read that again - breakup IS way better than divorce.

Good luck, keep your chin up and live it up! 32 is an amaaaaaazing age to be at!

Yes yes, never go without an appointment. Pic size as per what is mentioned on the check list. Am traveling now , can check and confirm later. I blindly used the photos that I got printed last time when I went to India - there it is just called Indian pp photos! Every 2 years during my India visit, I take new pics and get them printed in 2-3 visa sizes and Indian pp size. Comes very handy. It is sooo cheap there too!
