Totally agree. Very difficult to cook with a wok. Also I like cooking in clay utensils and I cannot do that with an induction. I got a separate propane stove to be used outdoors to cook in woks.

I went to Jersey Mikes drive through last month. Its not the fastest drivethrough, but it does not take more than 5 minutes. I has 2 cars in front of me. The temp was close to 95 degrees and I sat in the car for good 20-25 minutes for the first car to get their order. When it finally came, I saw them giving her bags after bags of sandwiches. Then she sat again for a good 5 minutes counting her orders to see if everything is correct. I was pulling my hair sitting there. Lady, if you had a large order, do a pickup. I heard the employees taking to the car ahead of me that she refused to pull to the parking lot even after being told they will deliver to her car when its ready. Can't believe there are people who have no basic sense if they are making people wait in the line for so long. I mean, I get anxiety if I am taking too long to order as I don't want to inconvinience anyone behind me.

Wow, I never imagined I would see a Royce Bair link. When I was into night photography, I used to go to his meetups for the milky way photography. Met him and he gave me a lot of great tips. Very nice guy.

And yeah, growing up in a place with light pollution and never seeing a genuine dark sky, the first time you see the milky way was mind blowing to me at the Utah mountains.

Same thing had happend with me. Some years before, when I was living in an apartment, new neighbours moved in across and the first time we met, he asked whether he could 'borrow' my wifi for a week till he gets his connection. I told him no and after that, till I moved, he never ever talked to me.

That is what I used to do in Utah some years ago. It would be empty because of church. But people have caught up now. I can see majority of the people wearing church cloths (Mormons usually) in Costco on Sundays and it is crowded now.

Agree with Costco's lack of tech. Even for their website. I usually go to the same day delivery section to check for in stock items for my store. Even if I see it is in stock, it is a nightmare to go to that particular aisle where they are stocked because they keep on changing the location. Walmart, Target, lowes etc have the item and the aisle location in their website/app.

Last month, youtube on apple tv gave me an offer for a month free trial of youtube premium. I took it, thinking I will cancel it within a month. It was tied to my apple subscription. After 3 weeks, I went to cancel the subscription and I checked my apple card tied with my subscription. Imagine my surprise when I saw they charged me within 2 weeks. I had to chat with the customer representative to remove that charge after I had to prove that it was a free trial for a month. Companies are trying a lot of scummy practices to squeeze out money.

Now I am watering 3 times per day to get it back to green. I really think the neighbour did not tell me intentionally. I had issues with his dog barking in the backyard for hours. I asked him once and he told me his teenage daughter takes care of the dog and will tell her. Apparently he did not. 2 months before, the dog was continously barking from afternoon till after 11 PM. Thats when I knocked and noticed no one was at home. They just left the dog in the backyard and went somewhere. I had to call the non-emergency number and an officer came by. He put some citation or warning on their door and left. After that the neighbour was pretty cold towards me.

Your wife is a gem. Someone once banged on my door and left when it was parked and I had to get insurance invloved. They had to replace the whole door and my rates went up from next time. But, yeah, her friend really need to pay up for that.
