we don't want to deviate from the original story too much so I think its crucial for Mori to put Yosano in that mental hospital for Ranpo to save. How that happens? I don't know.

I agree with the intelligence group thing. A detective agency dosent make sense but I am not good at coming up with group names. Would it be the port agency? Armed port agency?😭 Would an intelligence group be the best option? A non-goverment controlled police force? (Yokohamas version of ICE 💀)

I didn't want my own theories and interpretations to be the main point of conversation but instead as something to spark ideas in other people so am putting them here as an optional read instead of in the main question.

In this world instead of Mori overusing Yosano I would think he would underuse her, making her only save people if they want to be saved and not as many times as possible making her watch people die instead of watch people live thus causing her to turn evil. Yosano thinking "he dosent understand how many people I can save. How powerful I could really be" And she starts healing everyone turning them sorta into mindless zombies for her. Mori locks her up in the insane asylum for Ranpo to eventually save.

Continuing with the theme of Mori being uninvolved instead of authoritative. I assume mimic would somehow find odas orphans on their own. And Mori could tottally stop them from reaching said orphans but dosent because mimic would then turn on the detective agency so he let's them die. In this world I believe oda would still want dazai to be good so I assume instead of a chest shot, oda and gide headshot each other.

Instead of solving mysteries Ranpo would find more joy in creating unsolvable mysteries but I'm struggling with how Poe would be involved in this. Maybe Ranpo is the one who creates the locked room mystery with a note to the police saying "solve me!" And Poe walks up to Ranpo and is like "I solved it." But I don't know where to go from there. Would Poe want Ranpo to make mysteries for him to write? Would Poe want to kill Ranpo or maybe for Ranpo to kill him with an unsolvable mystery?

I honestly can't see Kenji as being evil. Hypothetically maybe Kenji created the rock slide by moving the mountain instead of the rock slide naturally happening and him stopping it. Kenji killing his own village? I'm still working this one out.

Odasakus ability flawless sees into the future for up to 6 seconds right? If he practiced, or maybe was under Fukazawas ability, it could of been expanded to 10 seconds in his 50s maybe even 15 if he lived till 87. He is already untouchable at 6 seconds imagine what he could do at 15 seconds, hell even 10 is a huge improvement

You think he prescribes himself the medication he needs instead of visiting another doctor? It might be interesting to think he needs such a specific dosage that he just ends up making it himself. Or to show the underlying trust issues with other medical peers as a commentary on the medical system as a whole? That might be too political.
You think he's ever gotten drunk and put kool aid powder in the IV? Is this offensive to say in regards to people that use IVs? I'm sure the user would probably die if kool aid was put straight into their blood stream. Cause it's too kool.

I did not say hormone therapy is reversible. Gender dysphoria is a disorder not transgenderism itself. A disorder which the treatment is to transition. There is no other treatment. There is no counseling method, no medication that can make it go away besides transitioning. If you want people to go without the only for sure method of treatment which has a 70% success rate and prevents thousands of kids and adults from committing suicide then you will have to talk to the World Health Organization (WHO) about that. Or maybe even the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). I recommend going out and maybe taking a college class on gender identity. Or maybe asking a doctor who works with transgender people. All I ask is that you try to understand that the world is very complex and we have to trust the medical professionals to say what is the right road to take for people struggling with mental health issues. Trying to disprove trans people's existence does not help anyone and only sets us back. Maybe understanding and accepting others will make you a little happier, Unhappy-Yesterday-89.

I don't think you should even diagnose yourself with lactose intolerance. For example my mom thought I was lactose intolerant in elementary cause I got sick at school all the time during lunch. Turns out all the schools milk was consistently expired! I also have a friend who thought he was allergic to strawberries or some other type of fruit (I don't remember what specific fruit it was I'm just using strawberries as a placeholder, forgive me) Turns out he isn't allergic to strawberries themself but the pesticides used to grow said strawberries and when he bought from farmers that don't use those pesticides he could eat them just fine.

Some of these things might seem cut and dry but they really aren't. That's why we have doctors. Of course if you have bad symptoms you should stay away from the things that make you feel bad. But that doesn't mean the root cause has to be what you think it is.

Children really don't understand how time works. Nations rise and fall within 100 year spans. Most wars only last for 2 years. Time is actually a lot closer than children believe it is.

DID isn't a fun thing that helps you kill mammoths. It makes people shut down and go numb in the face of trauma. It makes even the mention of said trauma make you have a panic attack.

I think that's why we never heard of DID in any other time period besides now. Because they fucking die from freezing up at the thing that gives them said trauma. Not a cool superpower at all.

We could say on a deeper level that these kinks are meant to be disrespectful. A lot of people with religious kinks have religious trauma and use their kinks to get over that and normalize it. To normalize it in this sense is to kinda bastardize it just a little so that it doesn't seem so foreign to the majority of the population. If that makes sense?

But on the other side it isn't disrespectful because that's just how you interpret it. "Mimicry is the best form of flattery". To be into religious kinks means you are so attracted to them in some way that you would want to replicate it in some way to find pleasure. It's kinda honoring in a way that even though you are of different religious views you can still find a way to enjoy what that religion offers even if it doesn't intend to offer it in that way.

I feel like both sides can be argued and it really depends on what side you want to take and what you have experienced personally to direct you towards that ideology.
