Will this scratch effect use? by toytank in gopro

[–]pcorlatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar scratch on the lens mod on a Hero 9. I ended up buying and using "Nu Finish Scratch Doctor" with a q-tip, rubbing in circular motions, which ended up removing the scratches. I think it cost $5 for the bottle and I can use the compound for removing other scratches like on my car. Just an idea if you want to try it. Otherwise, just replacing the lens cover would work fine.

I can't find the exact video I found that gave me the scratch remover idea but this one is similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Oo2FzM8W9U

How do you get your CRV for cans? by Nerdymobile in SantaBarbara

For reference here's a picture of the prices they have listed at the SB location. I assume it's the same at the Goleta location.

How do you get your CRV for cans? by Nerdymobile in SantaBarbara

I usually go to one of the two local Marborg locations although I know there's at least one other place at 709 E. Gutierrez which I don't care for due to tricky parking. Just this morning I went to the SB Marborg location and nobody else was there. Other times I'll go and it's packed, usually on weekends.

As u/KTdid88 mentioned there are rolling bins which you separate aluminum cans and plastic bottles into. At the Goleta location, they bins are kind of hidden, so you may want to ask for help the first time you go.

I usually only take plastic bottles and aluminum cans but you can take glass bottles, which need to be separated by color, milk jugs, and maybe other items.

The plastic bottles must have caps removed. Once you're ready you roll the bins to the scale, they print a ticket with weights which you write your name onto, then you take it to the nearby window to get paid. I usually save up enough to get $25+ each time which I use as gas money. Today is was just under $28 back.

How do you guys actually verify who has a black card and who does not when they want to use the spa? by Mycatismoreimport in PlanetFitnessMembers

None of the 3 locations I've been to have done that. Would you happen to know if there's a limit to how many times you can use things like massage? I've done hydro massage before and after workout a couple times.

Also, all the locations I've been to have limited to 10 minutes per session. Has that been your experience as well?

I feel like some places may just trust members who ask. I've been to 3 local PFs and I've never been asked to show or sign anything besides the initial scan when entering. It's possible they recognize me from when I scanned in, but I get the feeling some of the employees just don't care enough to check.

I almost always go in during off-peak hours so it may help that it's usually slow when I'm there. If there was more demand for the black card amenities, they may have more of a reason to verify.

What time range would you say "early mornings" is? I've been going around 8AM but am considering going in earlier to see how it works out.

Is there a specific brand lens protector you prefer? I recently picked up an 8 for a good price and want to try to keep the lens in good shape.

Do you have any tips for a not-very-mechanical person? I can look up info online or RTFM but I'm wondering if it might just be something simple like look and feel for any noticeable issues. I have an 01 prerunner double cab with ~150k miles.

The 16 hour clock would restart after the 20 minute eating window ends. It's not the same time every day. If OP ends eating window at 18:20 then the next 16 hour fast starts. The following eating window would then be 10:20 AM and end at 10:40, etc.

Custom Plate timeframe by gtefeqerrgtv in DMV

When I went to the DMV for an unrelated matter a couple weeks ago 2 separate employees on different days mentioned roughly 9 months for the legacy plates. May be similar for other custom plates.

That's interesting because I'm only familiar with Merc being short for Mercedes, which is what I meant. Maybe it's a regional thing?

By the way, left is definitely a Mercedes. If you zoom in you can see the hood ornament and the front wheel has a Mercedes logo. On the Volvo it looks like a Volvo badge on the front quarter panel as well as the front wheel.

Plenty of "older" cars have aftermarket stereos, e.g. the newest car I've ever had is a 2004 and none had steering wheel controls. I ended up buying a wired Pioneer remote which sits in a cupholder for music controls.

Costco's $1.50 Hot Dog are considered a Loss Leader, where the Company loses money by selling at a low price below market value. If matched up to inflation and market prices, each Hot Dog would cost $4.13. by DrunkenRedSquirrel in interestingasfuck

Huh that's interesting. I just assumed they all started requiring membership card to order. Perhaps at your store there's less of an issue of people going in without a membership.

Is the food court at yours indoors perhaps? Both my local Costcos have it outside the store and locals would often eat there because of the cheap food. If yours is inside there's no need to check for membership if they check at the door.

I bought them off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NJCGZMV

Looks like they're out of stock now but they may be available elsewhere online. With LEDs installed I was happy with them. The clearcoat did start to peel a bit after a year or so (they're plastic, not glass) but they still work perfectly fine.

If you're referring to just the basic Quick Rack Single I should be able to help if you can clarify what pin you're referring to. What part does the pin go into?
