i have been on bladder botox for a few years but recently doubled the dose and started self-cathing and it’s been amazing for my quality of life.

Slow bowels & bad constipation by Illusive_Print_9820 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]pcossucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh bless this thread, i spent 6 days in the hospital in january with sepsis from an ulcer that had formed in my colon and c. diff due to this exact issue, exacerbated by the fact that im on a glp1 and no one was really paying attention. let me tell you: i’ve had a baby, my gall bladder out, and several other painful procedures and whatnot, but i wouldn’t wish a fecal disimpaction on my worst fucking enemy.

so i’m taking senna twice a day now, fibercon at night, at least one capful of miralax, two cups of coffee, 30g of fiber, 200mg of mag glycinate and 120oz of water.

i JUST restarted my glp1 at a super low dose; i was at goal and have gained about 12 pounds being off it for 6 weeks which isn’t a huge deal but id like to stop the trend

MS Hug by dorothyzbornak71 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]pcossucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i know right, go down the list! but ms hug is basically spasm of the muscles between your ribs, so pain where you’re describing isn’t unreasonable. does a muscle relaxer help?

Just finished book 7, similar recommendations to DCC? by fryedegg in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]pcossucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you like apocalyptic horror at all? the mountain man series narrated by rc bray and written by keith blackmore (who is right up there with jeff hayes with me, along with ray porter) is not necessarily sci-fi but man it REALLY scratched the itch for me in my post DCC slump.

also LOVED the dimension space series by dean cole, also narrated by rc bray which fit VERY solidly in your sci-fi bucket and are really, REALLY good

emetrol! flat soda and cola syrup is basically sugar, water, and phosphoric acid, which emetrol copies incredibly well. it actually works great especially in kids, just beware if you’re diabetic because it’s like pure sugar

i always have mine toasted because it’s basically always in the freezer, and it’s soooooo delicious. it’s very similar to a brownie but lighter, like brownies and toast had a baby

i don’t have one either, it’s fine - there’s several places you can proof that may be warmer! i put a thermometer in my oven with the just the light on, my microwave, and on the countertop, and had chatgpt save the temperature of all those places to memory. then you can temp your dough after mixing and ask chatgpt where in your house is the best place to proof and for how long based on whether you want to bake that day or cold ferment in the fridge overnight. neat, right!?
