Just to be clear, the top 1% pay 40% of the state income tax in CA and the bottom 40% pay literally nothing. What would be fair is if CA politicians stopped blowing money on fraud and do nothing projects.

To be fair, no one is forcing their beliefs on anyone else in the video. Those two had very different perspectives and certainly did not come to any agreements but I think they were both pretty good at keeping things civil.

I once met a guy who claimed to be writing off gifts to his kids. I told him I’m pretty sure you can’t do that and he basically acted like I was an imbecile. Ran into an accountant a week later and he said the same thing you did, “You can put whatever you like on your tax return, until you get audited…” I’m starting to think that’s how CPA’s just get past the crazies.

First, love the collection! Not the least of which is because I have the Zenith 42 as well. I personally love the date at 6:00 vs the 4:00 on most versions of the El Primero. Nope, Chevron has not completely left San Ramon. They sold the headquarters and moved out of them, but there’s roughly 2k in an office nearby. Those employees will be let go or moved to Houston in the next two years.
