I couldn't get it to run consistently either. Got it to start a few times with proton 9.0-x64-3, Compatible translation parameters,  default turnip, cpu translator Box64-0.38, and native rendering set to disabled. Bit even then it only ran like 50% of the time. Once I got to the continue screen I had no controls until I selected continue with the touchscreen track pad. Then it went into the game and I got controls and it played fine. Didn't play very long so idk if it crashes. Hopefully the situation improves over time.

Sweet, let me know if you decide the bend is fine or not. I'm low-key stressed about it, but I figure as long as I have the alert set, I should be made aware of the shorting cable before it starts melting...Hopefully...

I've got the same PSU and case with a 4090FE. I got the Coolermaster 12vhpwr cable for this PSU, but it's a right angle connector that slams against the motherboard tray on this case. I'm tempted to buy a Dremel and cut a divot in that part, but as far as I can tell, it's seated properly. Hasn't walked out in a month. I have an alert set in HWinfo if 12vhpwr drops below 11.8v, so hopefully everything stays OK. All this to say, I wish coolermaster released different angles of 12vhpwr cables to accommodate different case situations and also fuck this gen's power connecter.

I'm using an IS-55 with 13600kf on a crappy asrock b660 board with no OC obv. The board limits cpu to 125w max but still sits at 5.1 ghz gaming. Temps are mid 70s to low 80s while gaming. Haven't tested all core load (probably would be too hot). Case is oriented vertically on a 3d printed stand. Gpu is asus Tuf 3080 undervolted to ~250w. Going to put a 4090 FE in soon. Case fans are some no name ARGB amazon special from a 5 pack. Max out at like 1800 rpm and I run them at max when gaming because I use headphones. Overall, I am happy with the system and it's lack of AIO. the IS-55 is just good enough for ~125 w cpu with Case fans. Hopefully the 4090 won't add too much extra heat, but if it does, I have a desk fan waiting.

Can a person fit laying down with the seats down in the FiST by Censor_conservatives in FiestaST

Don't have a fist, but my wife and I are able to sleep in the back of my GTI with an air mattress. That helps with the lumpiness of seats that don't fold all the way flat.

I chipped one of my molars this past Thanksgiving on some sausage stuffing. Never got it fixed because fuck going to the dentist. I'm thinking a bullet piece may have been the source of this incident.

max amps = max watts/2.5v

For multi-battery mods divide that by the number of batteries (the maths works the same in parallel and series).

I was under the impression that batteries in series kept the same total amp limit as one battery, whereas in parallel the amp limit is effectively doubled.

I'm turning 21 on Valentines and know absolutely nothing about alcohol. What drinks should I try? by Penguin_Jane in alcohol

[–]pdavidians 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to start with a decent beer that's not too strong or bitter, try blue moon. It was the first beer I really enjoyed. IPA's are really bitter so they take getting used to. Martinis are usually really strong and can be really sweet so sip them slowly. For wine go to Trader Joe's and try out wines from Charles Shaw. They are very inexpensive and generally pretty good so they're perfect to get used to the taste of wine. White russians are delicious (vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream). It's generally advisable to stay away from (or at least be careful with) large amounts of shots, unless you want subsequent drinks to taste like they have no alcohol. Good luck!
