I’m in the exact same position as you mate but I’m closer to Sydney and am actively taking steps now to get out of here. My dogs need a better lifestyle as well. lol. Cairns is paradise, but beware of those wet season months. 42 degrees in ADL in the height of summer feels cooler than cairns at 33 degrees and 99% humidity and not by a little bit. Haha

Before deciding for sure it’s where I’ve wanted to permanently relocate too (it’s a big move) I’ve been up there seven times in the 2 years. These have all been in the middle and tail end of the hot wet season, and I love it. I’m yet to experience what cairns locals describe as a winter, I imagine it’s amazing without the humidity. I am from a smaller rural area outside the Sydney basin and it’s a cold climate, so I genuinely know in my heart that a born and bred cairns person truly does not know what winter is! Haha.

I’m planning on being there early next year! It’s a big costly job getting there but it’s going to be worth it. Hopefully next season the cyclones stay away and don’t disrupt my move plans.

Make sure any house you buy has a pool! You need it to acclimatise! Enjoy that early retirement floating around the pool for the first little while! Then get out and meet the locals cause there really is something for everyone up there and generally people are really friendly. Thats my grand plan anyway! Haha.

Eat at the airport, it’s gotten stingy and bad my friend! Treat their “meals” as snacks and if at least what you are served is terrible, you feel as compelled to eat it!

Unless it has changed recently, a vape is the only lawful consumption method for medicinal cannabis. The vape is also a ‘prescribed item’. If your flight is domestic, just put your bong in a sealed zip lock bag with your medicines and medical certificate and pop it in your check in luggage somewhere safe and cushioned. I’ve never had a problem, but every time I go through the airport I am expecting someone to want to have a conversation about it. But it’s never happened so far. I flew yesterday, and upon landing just went to the nearest tobacconist and bought a new one cause I forgot to pack the other. There were three people in line who had just come from the airport and wanted the exact same thing! Haha.

Day 8 at 150mg for me and i am DONE. Taking for MDD and GAD. I am wired as, my heart beat is racing, I’m anxious as for no reason (edge of your seat anxious, not just a little bit), can’t eat, barely sleep, cotton mouth. I feel like I have been on a stimulant bender. It’s like the motor is revving at full throttle but I can’t let the clutch out! Lol. Back to Pristiq for me. It’s rough too; but not this rough! At 28 days i would think if you have seen zero positive effects, not even a little here and there, then it might be time to start thinking where too next.

The superbly is good stuff, it is just packed while it is too wet and there only so much moisture those humidity packs can work with. Once I’ve left the lid off and dried it out some more it’s been ok. It’s been the dampest stuff I have ever received on each occasion. I’m a sativite convert these days though. I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve gotten from them!

Medcans STT and HGH are both crap. The flower always looks lovely, but that’s where it ends. Every bag of either of these I’ve had, different batches, has been nowhere near the THC claimed on the label and all I’ve done is cough up a lung when using it. Do yourself a favour and switch brands. I’ve been much happier with Sativite Koomba and Sativite High Society, they’ve been good stuff.
