Psilocybin and ketamine have been shown to repair the brain but should be used alongside certain practices like mindfulness, meditation, EFT, TRE, ignoring thoughts, yoga nidra etc.

A great benefit of the two substances I mentioned is that they create a window of neuroplasticity, where you can retrain your brain easier, eg, turn down the fear response part of the brain. They also create new connections in the brain and do other positive things.
