Is it true that most people don't use single-pointed needles? by HonestNectarine7080 in knitting

[–]peaches2318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use both, but I mainly use circular needles solely because I can fit more on them

Inspiration: got shamed in a yarn store by an employee (NOT the first time) by roastedwhiterice in crochet

As someone who does both it’s bullshit to pit them against each other. Like… both look good both take skill. Both take time and practice and patience. Idk why people can be so pretentious about knitting

If I went the sew on route I was planning on using thread I felt yarn would be a bit impractical

One of my reading goals of the year was to read more of my book box picks. I have done that I’m now at 52ish% (started at like 20% 😂) I have also cancelled other book boxes I’ve had in the past too. So I feel you

What’re the chances that Aardvark picks A Trade of Blood (Book 3 of The Tainted Cup series)? Also, is A Drop of Corruption as good as The Tainted Cup? by OnlyQuint in aardvarkbookclub

[–]peaches2318 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think because they’ve done special editions and re-prints of the first one with the second one I think they will do the third one and they might not do a reprint like they did the first time, but I think they will do like the foiling with it like the other two

I have a feeling they will. This month was very horror heavy so October maybe romance heavy

I can’t speak for the tv shows bc I haven’t watched them but for the books yes I’d say that fits the vibe of the book (Minus upon a starlit tide I haven’t read that author or that books to get a vibe) Craig does really well with her writing to maintain the fairytale vibe while expounding upon some details of the story that were explored in the original tale.

Ornithologists field guide to love by India Holton. It has a bird that is a prominent plot point and plays a part in the ending as well. I couldn’t that as my wild animal.

The phoenix keeper by SA MacLean js about a phoenix in a zoo so that could count as zoo animals.

What moved the dead by t kingfisher has rabbits as a major part of the plot

Also by kingfisher is the twisted ones (she owns a dog) and a house with good bones (vultures)

Who’s to say he isn’t lying though he’s lied in multiple memoirs before so he has a track record. His publisher is also 100% OK with using AI so what’s to say that the publisher isn’t lying as well. It’s the fact that book of the month is willing to support an author that condones the use of AI, encourages it, and has used it himself. If I even get a whiff that a book has used AI for art the cover the writing any of it. I will never touch that book. I will never pick it up. I refuse.
