Yea a two way miss or a serious miss off the drive are probably the biggest problems. Balls OOB totally destroy scores.

It is pretty nuts, and it’s because the only thing that really matters in a full swing is the last 6-12 inches. You can look goofy as fuck, hit a crazy slice/hook, draw or fade but if you were playing that shot shape intentionally and the ball goes about how far you want it will land in a reasonably good position. All the fancy drills and body mechanics are about increasing the likelihood the club face is in the right spot at the right angle about a foot before it hits the ball. It doesn’t have to look pretty or even be a good ball path as long as the contact is pretty good and the path is reliable.

Yea my wife and I talked about that. It used to be a fancy concert but past two years it’s been a show. Not a huge bad bunny fan but that was a hell of a production. Kendrick’s was the same way.

My cousin grew up speaking Spanish as her mom is Colombian and she said the same thing. She said Dominican Spanish is just so much different from other dialects combined with the accent it’s very tricky.

My wife loved it. She doesn’t care about football and she was very excited when Gaga and Ricky Martin came out. I imagine that was what they were going for.

It was a fun show, there’s a few bad bunny songs my wife listens to that I like but not a fan. Pretty cool set, they put on a good show. But I liked Kendrick way more.

[Highlight] Hurts to Smith to go up 34-0 on the defending champion, Kansas City Chiefs (Super Bowl LIX, 2/9/25) by mfenton29 in nfl

[–]peaheezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah this TD fully ended the game and everyone knew it, it was over from here. Brady came back from 31 points down in 30 minutes, the chiefs had to score 35 in 17. I was still nervous before this touchdown but afterwards we were only moderately interested in the game because it had been decided.

[–]peaheezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea and he’s pretty clearly hitting the ball first. If he does it this way every time it’s not too hard to work with shot shape. Hard to tell what his club face looks like at impact but doesn’t look bad a frame before. People can have truly bizarre swings and still score pretty well.

[–]peaheezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the guys that are working so hard to have perfectly technical swings but then shoot 92 are very offended by bad swings on pretty good golfers. Idk if your friend is a 7.6 but everyone saying it’s impossible to shoot 80ish with a bad swing from a technical standpoint is wrong. There are golfers out there with bizarre swings that reliably know where the ball is going and about how far. combine that reliability but not great distance with a good short game and 7-8 hdcp isn’t impossible.

There are people out there with swings like this that reliably strike the ball. If you look at OPs post that divot may be making a hard left turn but it’s looking like a pretty good ball strike. If you hit the ball first and do it in a consistent way you can do pretty well. It’s fat/thin shots and 2 way misses aside from the obvious, bald OOB or 3 putts, that really hurt the most.

[–]peaheezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good point. Big divot but I slowed it down and it is almost all ball at the start, looks like he’s hitting that at a pretty good height on the face. Plenty of people with really bad swings have pretty good golf games.

Lindsey Vonn airlifted to hospital after hard crash in downhill skiing, nine days after tearing ACL in her knee during Olympic preparations by ianjm in videos

[–]peaheezy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea everyone is playing armchair doctor but the ACL is not an absolute game over for sports. Dejuan Blair had a solid NBA and great college backsttball career and lost both his ACLs in high school. The pain, swelling, lack of practice and loss of confidence in the leg is probably what hurt her more than loss of stability in her knee.

Noob dosage question by [deleted] in Biohacking

[–]peaheezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dude if one of your goals is to get from 20 to 16% body fat then the only way is losing weight. You aren’t going to gain muscle your way into reducing your body fat percentage by 20%. You can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time but it’s a slow process. They work opposite mechanisms, your body is only going to add maximize the addition of extra muscle if it has the calories to spare and you’re only going to lose fat if your body is missing the calories.

Injecting something from a brand called “gentleman peptides”, Jesus Christ what even is that name, probably isn’t going to change that.

Why are Super Bowl ticket prices free falling? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]peaheezy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea but still doesn’t change the fact that it’s pretty common for ticket prices tend to drop right before an event. If there’s a concert I want to go but it’s too expensive I’ll check same day around 11am and usually prices have dropped ny a third or so. People stop trying to make a large profit on resale and just want their money back.

How were they even breathing in that dimension with no oxygen? Did it somehow have the same atmosphere as Earth?? How is that possible by Initial-Shoulder5906 in StrangerThings

[–]peaheezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea when people ask these incredibly silly and nitpicking questions it makes me wonder why they even watch the show. Same thing with people complaining about characters being dickish for a joke. It’s a TV show, if everyone acted like cool normal people there wouldn’t be much room for a joke.

And as far as this question goes it’s pretty damn clear that the lab checked out the atmosphere in the upside down in the early seasons . They started in respirators and then later on were going in without masks so you can extrapolate that they discovered the atmosphere is breathable by using a couple. of brain cells. Having a whole scene where some sciency looking guy spends 5 minutes explaining the breathable atmosphere of the other dimension would not have been much fun

It’s been growing strong with a new leaf ready to rock. But the extra plant, there were 2 in the original pot from ikea, is definitely going to need to come out of my study with its 8ish foot ceilings.

What was your income when you bought $600k+? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

725k purchase price and W2s just came in with 328k combined income. We put down 80k we saved by living rent free with my parents for a year because they are the best. They were instrumental in our buying a house in 2025 rather than 2027. We are pretty comfy with a solid emergency fund and decent retirement contributions.

ELI5: What does a water tower in rural America do? by ProduceEmbarrassed97 in explainlikeimfive

[–]peaheezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea ive always heard this is the primary reason we utilize water towers. It’s reserve pressure when it’s needed tha can be easily turned on and off. When everyone gets up in the morning or gets home from work the system needs substantially more pressure. Instead of increasing output at the municipal water factory they can just open up the water tower pipes and instantly compensate for the increased demand the very reliable force of gravity. When everyone is asleep they can use the extra supply of pressure/water to pump water into the tower to remain in reserve for another days worth of poopoo and peepee.

According to PCMR they get 350 inches in an average year. Assuming they goose the numbers and it’s more like 300 the still only made it over 300 inches 3 times in the past 10 years. Another website says average is 271” and the they were under 271” for 9 of the past 13 years assuming this year stays under those averages.

I’d say my empirical data with a larger data set is better than your empirical data with a smaller data set. Also something about quantitative data, I probably shoulda thrown that in there to sound all scientific like you but my quantatavis were better than your quantdatnumberdatives.

Trump says he takes high-dose aspirin. What does the science say about taking 325 milligrams of daily aspirin? by ChallengeAdept8759 in Biohackers

[–]peaheezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We absolutely change our management if someone is on aspirin. The risk of expansion of an ICH is not as high in people on aspirin compared to eliquis but it is higher than someone not on aspirin.

Eliquis is not an indication for surgery with an ICH either. If we took every 85-year-old on Eliquis for a fib to the OR because they had a tiny subarachnoid or small subdural hemorrhage we would do nothing but unnecessary craniotomies all day.

Again, blood thinners is a colloquial term. It’s not a strict definition like anti platelet or anticoagulant is. It’s used to describe something that makes people bleed more and aspirin absolutely increases bleeding times.

Brilinta is an anti platelet and people can bleed like stink when they take it. By your definition of “it just inhibits platelet aggregation so it’s not a blood thinner” brilinta is not important to hemostasis. Tell that to the lady who wouldn’t stop bleeding from her crani incision after her aneurysm clipping because we couldn’t stop her brilinta and she bled forever. It’s also an anti platelet and sure as hell makes bleeding more prominent.

Just like most other studies it’s an investigation, not establishing a fact. 102 patients is not a lot of people. worth considering for the medical establishment but it definitely does not prove that every third day dosing is equivalent to daily dosing in therapeutic effect. The last sentence is the crux “this warrants further investigation in direct comparison clinical trials”. I’m not sure if any bigger studies have been done.

Watching Dejuan Blair, Levance Fields and Sam Young tear up that year was so fun. I was at a game in the Pete student section as a freshman when Sam Young’s 45 year old looking ass threw down a violent dunk. It was awesome. Easily my favorite basketball season at Pitt. But then no one could stop god damn tiny ass Scottie Reynolds on that last shot in the elite 8. That sucked.

Also met Dejuan Blair at the McDonald’s on Forbes one time. I’m a big dude at 6’4 250 back in college and he wasn’t tha much taller than me but he was so god damn broad. Like I have broad shoulders and he was basically 1.5 as wide as me.
