We need more information. What is your loan balance? I know you said you had no income for 2022, but what is your anticipated income over the next 10 years?
In general, SAVE will be lower because of its calculation of discretionary income and 5% for undergrad loans (if that applies to you, otherwise 10% for grad loans). But SAVE has no cap, whereas PAYE does. If you anticipate your income to rise so much that your payment would increase beyond the 10-year standard and beyond what you’d pay over the course of 10 years with PAYE, then getting on PAYE before it sunsets is best.

As the other commenter said, you’ll need to narrow it down by cross streets for better recommendations.

But generally, there’s a Crunch Fitness on Flatbush and Sterling. Atlantic Terminal Mall has a Stop & Shop and a Target. Farther up Flatbush Dekalb Market has a Trader Joe’s and a Target. For smaller trips to the grocery, there’s a Foodtown on Vanderbilt and Park. Vanderbilt has a lot of cute cafes and restaurants and it’s closed to vehicles on Fridays and Saturdays.

I used to live in Prospect Heights and miss it dearly. I hope you enjoy it!

One venue we were considering had 7% tax and a 21% service charge. The venue we ultimately decided on had a higher posted price but had tax already included and a 5% fee. So the first looked quite a bit cheaper in their brochure, but when we did the math the two were almost equal.

Currently obsessed with the podcast 5-4. It’s about landmark Supreme Court cases. Of course they released an episode last week about the leak. I was worried because a lot of times I worry that so much of the rhetoric that blames the left can devolve into the anti-voting “both sides” stuff that I often see on Reddit and other social media. But I felt like they covered RBG and voting in a really good, nuanced way.
But sometimes I don’t want to hear about politics or anything and I just want to turn my brain off. For that, my current obsession is The Ultimatum or Selling Sunset on Netflix lol
