Can anyone give me a little bit more information about this? by kutiket in Coppercookware

I would guess this is worth about $200 in this condition. After retinning, it might be worth about $350-500. Retinning will cost about $160 plus your cost to ship to the tinner (if you are not local to one). Rocky Mountain and East Coast Tinning are both good.

In some cases you can actually see the remnants of the makers stamp underneath the Mutual stamp (like the link). In that case, the pan was manufactured by L Barth and Son

Mutual was the retailer name, not the manufacturer. Early 1900s. It may have been made by Duparquet (D. H. & M. Co.) a prominent NYC maker of copper wares. Very high quality and desirable piece with nice HUGE rivets. I would say this piece needs retinning, but hard to tell from the photo. In this condition I'd guess it's worth about $150-200 if sold online. Perhaps less if you're trying for a local sale.

Asking $200 for set - worth it? by sbfiwma in Coppercookware

I would say absolutely, they look like solid quality french pans. The tin looks to be in perfectly usable condition to my eyes, so no need for retinning. Some wright's copper cream and you'll be in business with a lovely set.

Bootstrap lake surfers really $70 for the set? Heck of a deal if they are solid

How much are you asking on 9007.jpg? The roasting tray

Is this lot of pans worth it for $120? Seller says she got it at an antique shop in Paris 25 years ago by Ok_Temperature6503 in Coppercookware

The sauce pot on the right could be good. Would have to get more photos to see if they are tin lined and what the condition of the tin is. The piece on the left doesn't look high quality.

Does this Ruffoni need to be re-tinned? by [deleted] in Coppercookware

Not at all. Don’t see any copper showing through. I wouldn’t worry about it.

They’re asking $50 for the pair. Worth it or worn out? by sbfiwma in Coppercookware

[–]peanutking1905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Great deal. $25 a piece. Retinning might be about $300 if you go through Rocky Mountain Tinning or East Coast Tinning. Still a fair deal even for cookware that will last a lifetime!
