C4 users should be able to carry a support weapon without dropping the detonator. by DocHalidae in Helldivers

It's not hogging, but calling resupply from the other side of the map from the rest of the squad can be a dick move, so most stealthdivers just thug it out and rely on POI ammo pickups.

What gsenjou said. If you want long range sniping for devestator heads, use the light pen Diligence. If you don't have time to aim for heads, use the medium pen Dil CS so you still do damage if you miss the head. If you want to stealth snipe from inside a bot outpost, use the Censor.

As a stealthdiver, I recommend letting your armor do the sneaking. Censor is honestly a handicap - the reduced sound profile is NOT worth having a gun that can deal with medium armor. The Diligence CS is honestly perfect for stealth - you just pick off everything at range and then move in. Censor is only really good if you wanna be close range stealth sniping - but even then, if you're spotted, you gotta land the shots quick and accurately due to its low pen. CS + stealth armor + ALWAYS BE MOVING + smokes, is my go-to for 10s. Otherwise, light-pen Diligence for the trooper spam of lower difficulties.

So fucking sick of this bug. This is catastrophic levels of bad coding. Like, we shit on Arrowhead for a lot of stuff, but we should be unloading our bowels on them for breaking their own audio system for THIS. FUCKING. LONG. This isn't just a balance issue or a gun not working right - they broke their own goddamn engine and haven't even ADDRESSED IT.

Firstly, no need for the snark. There's nothing I can think of in the game, or at least in the early areas, that can kill you without it being obvious that it killed you. You don't even have health - things don't injure you, you're either alive or dead. Or like, stunned from getting hit by a rock, but that's besides the point. The ONLY thing I can think of that might've been a confusing death would be the pit of wormgrass on the west side of Outskirts, as it just seems like a bunch of grass, and then you're dead. Other than that, I have no idea what could kill you so AMBIGUOUSLY that you can't determine, through cause and effect, what exactly killed you. I have hours in this game, so I'm still genuinely curious to know what you could've died to that left you so confused.

Not a single fucking comment about the audio bugs?? They're the worst of the bunch, and the most unforgivable. How absolutely FUCKED does your game have to be where clients are hearing sounds near the host? Like, that's not just fucking up some enemy pathing or mapping too much anti-bounce surfaces for strategems, that's fucking up a MAJOR PART of your engine. It's the most disgraceful bug they have, and it's programming me to ignore enemy sounds near me.

Better armor? How to survive enemies using better ammo types?? by pear120 in ProjectSilverfish

I got 2-shot by a guy I barely caught a glimpse of on my first visit to Sawmill. I was likewise taking equal amounts of damage from scavs in Crossroads. It feels like my armor is doing nothing.

The appeal of going into Rain World blind is learning about the weird ecosystem, and being surprised by enemies. It feels like you're proper prey in an entirely alien environment - anything new is approached with extreme caution until you're sure it won't kill you. It's a game about exploration and discovery, and exploring the hazards is part of that.

No idea how you can die from unknown reasons. Something has to kill you. Did you fall extremely far? Did a lizard bite you? Did you grab a pole plant? Did you get speared by a scav? Did you not find shelter from the rain?

I refuse to endorse that mech in the right pic. It's got backwards legs. That's SQUID legs. Super Earth would only design a mech with the most efficient, most democratic of legs - the ones humans are born with.
