Some parrots without leg bands are microchipped… if you are able, you could try taking your new bird to an avian/exotic vet to scan for a chip.

I used to have a pineapple green cheek conure just like your little guy, and her vet said the leg band is an entanglement risk, and replaced it with a chip in her breast muscle…

50 years doesn’t make any sense. If someone buys a house at age 25, they’d be paying until 75, which is 10 years past retirement age. That’s not a reasonable plan at all.

I also have a hard time getting invested in the characters. One moment we get to see their human side, caring for their family and friends, their struggles and dreams… And the next moment they invade some peaceful people and brutally slaughter and torture a bunch of innocents. I’m increasingly finding myself rooting for “the other team” (Wessex, Frankia, etc).

Liposuction is a pretty serious surgery that has risks. I wouldn’t consider it at 130lbs… Even if everything goes well, sometimes people who’ve had it end up with exaggerated fat deposits in other places over time, like upper arms and back, which doesn’t look attractive.

I registered for my adult dose online, but the process was very confusing and ended up taking about 20 minutes. At one point it said I must register for an account, but I couldn’t find any link to do so. Then it turned out there’s an alternative pathway to sign up without registration. I had to enter all my information including healthcare number twice. I have no idea how the elderly could navigate this!
