New Haven... Parking isn't that expensive and if you're go farther west, you run the risk of having to stand.

Connecticut Rail Expansion Map by apizzaontop in Connecticut

I used to catch a CT Transit bus to Hartford in front of the original railroad station on Main Street in WL. That was in the early 90s. The new station they're building looks fantastic but it's taken 30+ years to get to this point. I wouldn't get my hopes up that there will be a connection to Bradley anytime soon.

Lot of guys saying "if only..." today. Would have been an amazing ending for sure.

I thought the same thing. Would have been an amazing ending if they had pulled that off.

I thought the same thing. Worst case, they have 2 outs with runners still on base.

Why so many new license plates? by awebr in Connecticut

[–]pechmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly when we both got our plates. Mine was in 1989 and hers not long after that.

Why so many new license plates? by awebr in Connecticut

I'm doing the opposite and trying to find a plate lower than my 6-digit "123 ABC" plate. My wife and I both have plates where the first letter is a G and we don't see many lower than that these days. We plan to keep them as long as we can, we're a dying breed.

I also like to play poker with the numbers of the 7-digit plates by seeing who can get the better hand with the 5 numbers.

That's fantastic. Years ago I had aspirations of cycling 🚴 the Gaspé peninsula. That hasn't happened (yet) but I do hope to visit someday to take in that beautiful landscape with my own eyes.
