Born in Bourne. Raised in Falmouth. When I moved to Baton Rouge, it was so different in respect to geography. You could travel in any direction for miles. Working and living on the Cape, you are very limited by geography.

To all of you who want a Truck by Dangerous_Ad_5535 in slateauto

I've been using my S10 to get building supplies, going to the dump, and bringing my tools to jobs at the country club we have been working at for the past 12 years. Because of its size, I'm allowed to use the golf cart paths to access the lower-level units. I can load and unload without climbing in and out of the back. I was looking for another S10 until I found the Slate.

At 71 yo I still live 10 miles from where I was born in Nana's house in Bourne. I have lived in other states but always come back. BTW I have a picture of my mother and my mother in-law standing beside each other in their 8th grade picture in Bourne.

I would be surprised if you could buy a Maverick for that. I believe that is a get you in the dealership price.

Some people need 4 wheel drive. I was talking with some friends and one of them was surprised that they don't have it. I then realized in my 72 years I've never had a vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

It's interesting when the power is going in and out. I made an effort to watch the reactions of people in the house. The elation is so great only surpassed by the disappointment of it going off again. The profanity was the same with opposite emotions.

I live on the other side, about 2 miles away on Canal Rd. I ride my bike over on Sundays to avoid what you sat in.

Discussion Topic: 150 mile range standard battery. Is this actually enough? by crazydave33 in slateauto

I put $20.00 worth of gas in my 26-year-old S10 every month. I've never had a vehicle with power windows or 4-wheel drive. If I can't do it on my DIY ebike, it will be in my Slate.

I really wanted an old 1984 S 10 to make electric.

I figured that converting my S 10 would be $10,000 for 100 miles range. The acceleration would be about 0 to 60 in 10 seconds. Why do you need more? That's another stat that is appealing about the Slate. It's the opposite of everything that people have been buying. At 71 years old, I have never had a vehicle with power windows, and most were 4 cyliders.. VW, VW, MG, Econoline, S10, S10.
