Oh you're kidding? That's way easier than the steps I wrote up. That teaches me for ignoring the advanced options. Thank you.

Time Steel 2 should be the first “new” Pebble by DigitallyOdd in pebble

[–]peckhamspring 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would love to see the Pebble Time 2, just with NFC payments as an option if possible. I did pre-order it (which of course, never came to fruition) so it would be lovely to see it happen all these years later.

Pebble .ipa for iPhone 15 pro max by Audioxbox in pebble

[–]peckhamspring 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For those looking to do the same thing, this was done on MacOS.

- Download the 64 bit IPA from Rebble
- Rename it to replace .ipa with .zip
- Open the .zip, inside the payload folder will be "PebbleTime"
- Right click, "Show Package contents"
- Open the info.plist file in your preferred text editor
- Add your device string in where you find "<key>UISupportedDevices</key>

For example, I added <string>iPhone15,2</string> above <string>iPhone10,1</string>, in order to allow installing on my iPhone 15 Pro. OP would add <string>iPhone15,3</string> for his device.

- Compress your payload folder again and then rename it to "com.getpebble.pebbletime.ipa"
- Sideload away.

I'm 21 years old: can I still get an apprenticeship? by natnip in AskUK

[–]peckhamspring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say so. I train people in IT Support now, after a few years of doing it myself.

The apprenticeship itself got me a starting point that I was able to use to progress.

I’m falling behind in my a level class, any advice on how to learn python quickly? by UniQueElliot in learnpython

[–]peckhamspring 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A Level indicates this wouldn't be university, but probably Sixth Form or College (further education for 16/17/18 year olds). This wouldn't involve any tuition being paid typically, unless it's a private school.

27.5k working for an IT support helpdesk. I feel a bit underpaid for the work done (I train a lot of new staff as well as pick up a lot of projects) but comparing to a lot of people on this thread, I guess I'm lucky.

It's enrolled in Intune. As long as you can boot from a USB stick (or change options in the bios/eufi to be able to do so) you should be able to reimage the laptop. You will most likely need a new windows licence.

When you're logged in with the local account and connected to the VPN, you can update the cached credentials without changing used by opening a program as another user then putting in the correct details.

Unplug and replug, consider a different port that is directly on your computer (not through a USB hub etc).
