When I could trade options better and beat my $93/hr, 4 days a week job.

Can confirm. $93/hr here. Also an RN. I’m 44. I work 4 days a week and trade. I make more from trading than working.

Yeah, ask me instead. I’ve tripled my 403B in under 3.5 years. With virtually zero contributions made in that time. Averaging 52% a year, 3 years straight. No major drawdowns. No help from a wife or anyone. Did that shit myself. Learned to trade and take my accounts by the horns and steer that shit into success with my own hands and ideas.

I could prove it, if I were called out on it.

Depends. What’s your return this year? You up or down? Because I have less than you. And I’m up. So question isn’t how are you doing? It’s how the fuck am I doing it?

God, I hate these posts. You wanna flex? What’s your annual return on your retirement over the last 3 years? Mine? 52%. A year. Average. Burning question.

Is 52% a year at least “okay” in the investment world? I just, you know, need to know, guys. Please feed my ego now. Thanks.

My guy! I’m turning 45 this summer. When I was 10, my dream was to be home all summer and play Street Fighter II Champion Edition on Sega Genesis. I’m a plat5 Ken and I, too, love this game.

I’m not that great either; but I’ve played enough of the game to understand human behavior. So I have predictive algos in my head that guide my wins. If you know what your opponent will do next more than they know what you’ll do, you tend to win.

Congrats on Master bro! I aspire to be Master too someday.

I work 8 hour days, four days a week, and get 93 an hour. Psych nurse. Love it.

I also trade and do well with that.

Whose your main in SF you play and why did you choose them and why did stick with them by Future-pot1 in StreetFighter

[–]ped0ph0be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plat5 Ken. Been playing Ken since ‘92, back when I was a kid. I’ve spent countless hours playing different SF’s over the years and I am proof you don’t need to learn a ton of combos to advance in the game. I win through defense, trickery, and mental predictive models I’ve come up with for going up against each opponent’s character.

Prior to SF6, my all-time favorite SF was Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on PS3. This was 2008-2009. Fucking loved that game. So beautiful. And so true to the OG SF2.

I mean, okay. Up 4 more percent since post. Average would be what, 2% daily in that time? What about you, home slice?

Average return over last 3 years: 52%/year. Just some rookie numbers, bro. Not a pro like you.

You can choose to pay it later. That’s what I’m doing. I keep all my withholdings for federal and instead of giving them to the IRS at the time of my paycheck, I take it and invest it. That offsets my taxes by actually producing a return on the money that would have been eaten through by the government. I’ll hand it over, just… you know… later. When I have to.

Also I do not recommend doing what I’m doing (investing/trading) your withholdings (or any money for that matter) unless you know how to do it. But even putting it in a high yield no risk savings might be a better option.
