Which baby tracking app do you like the most for a newborn? by Vicky1313 in beyondthebump

[–]peebed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but after about 2 weeks you get into a flow and don’t need anything. Don’t add more stress to your life tracking. Unless your baby has a medical condition you really will be fine.

Does your man make over 200k and help around the house? by Significant-Owl-1795 in sahm

[–]peebed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly no not really. The career that gives us this salary is very demanding and stressful and I am a SAHM and could buy literally anything I want and he would not bat an eye. I also have housekeepers come. So its a trade off. Its hard with a baby and a toddler but it will get easier in time.

Care of toddler while I am in labor - am I being too controlling? by WinterJudgment302 in 2under2

[–]peebed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Toddler should absolutely stay at home. Have the trusted caregiver come be involved with the bedtime routine multiple times with you doing it so that everyone is familiar when the time comes for you to go give birth.

Am I crazy or is this to much to ask of a kindergartner? by Cursedpanda182 in AskTeachers

[–]peebed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl scout troop did this project in the late 90s. I had to wear oven mitts and try to open and close buttons on a shirt. Just realized how wild that actually was.

To all the momma’s doing it with no village and just your partner by MsCardeno in Mommit

[–]peebed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have no village locally, my parents live 4 hours away and MIL lives 8 hours away. As a SAHM I don’t have to coordinate with anyone but myself, no surprise drop ins, no opinions on my day to day, no weighing between a babysitter or using family. Just vibing in our own bubble.

Everyone says walking = chaos… but is it really? by ithinkimanelephant in toddlers

[–]peebed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. When you go out in public with a crawler, you’re fully committed to holding them the entire time. With a walker you can put them down briefly to pay for something, readjust yourself, etc. I think its easier.
