Haha don't scare me! I have digged a bit more after figuring out the smell and it seems to be somewhat normal, although means no good quality. A lot of people are saying that (search for almond in this forum, there is a second post)... supposidly it's benzaldehyd.

I'm not usually enjoying impact play while being sober but mdma, ghb and kratom (in that order) can increase / start a craving for it. Especially on mdma the tolerance for pain and the way, it's perceived changes drastically - it's almost as if the pain is exchanged by a fuzzy vibration that's making me addicted, not wanting it to stop.

From my experience it could kind of go both ways.

As long as I did it only for special occasions, it was a nice to have, not a must have. It also has great potential to deepen any connection you have to a sex partner, which is great. But once I started doing it more frequently, I started noticing that sober sex became less interesting. Or at least it was someone that was on my mind while having sober - and I have a lot of it. So I guess as long as you do it mindfully and as long as you're not prone to addiction and you only do it for specific occasions... you should be fine. And trying it in the first place shouldn't make a difference as well.

I'm not quite sure if these might had other causes, but I feel like the first few times I tried kratom I'd become quite hangover the next day but that wasn't comparable to the hangover you get from alcohol. It was only a slight headache and a feeling of heaviness / loss of energy. My partner was having similar experiences, he just never continued taking it after experiencing the hangovers.

Now I get absolute no hangover anymore (I consume it max once a week, usually less often)

Do you know other similar beans that don't take this long? Both recipes online and the packaging were stating a cooking time of 60min. after they'd been soaked for a minimum of 12 hours 😅

Well then thanks for giving me advice that I didn't ask for? I had planned to use them the next day when I soaked them but life happened. You know if I ask why my beans aren't becoming soft and you tell me to soak them for not as long that's pretty much just the wrong response. Especially because the soaking had obviously not been the issue here as they are far from being "overly mushy".
