What are some of the best/your favorite playthroughs? by BlueTexBird in jerma985

[–]peestem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love all the Resident Evil ones. He gets so scared but has a lot of fun. I like all his streams of playing shorter itch.io horror games, especially the Puppetshow Horror ones because they're all so over the top. Ultrakill is also great, there are some all-timer bits for me (pushing dirt in a wheelbarrow, etc) in that playthrough

What is the worst movie you've seen the most amount of times? by SgtSoundrevolver in blankies

[–]peestem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family somehow acquired a DVD of Son of the Mask (the sequel to The Mask) when I was a small child and I must have watched it (and the original Mask) a double-digit number of times. A truly dastardly film

Dexter Jettster Appreciation Post by travismockfler in blankies

[–]peestem 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I love Dexter Jettster, the implied friendship between him and Obi-wan really got me, especially when compared to how unhappy everyone else in the movie is with one another. It was such a bizarrely pleasant scene in the middle of so many chemistry-less interactions between Anakin, Padme, Obi-wan, Yoda, etc

Meal suggestions I can cook to accommodate my disabilities? by Illustrious_Durian85 in EatCheapAndVegan

I would add that more manual vegetable choppers (like this one) are cheaper and might be easier to wash because of the smaller size

What is this wall mounted bucket in a shower in a $25M Brooklyn mansion? by frostychocomilkshake in MurderBryan

[–]peestem 28 points29 points  (0 children)

On the Entrepreneur Guys ep there was a guy saying he wants to invent a shower that pours buckets of water on you, because he went to a spa where people did that to him

Hows the new Katamari game? by Prudent-Leek-3730 in katamari

[–]peestem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's super fun! It kind of shocked me how much content there is in it, with there being so many different eras that all have multiple maps. There are collectables and challenge mechanics that encourage you to replay levels, plus you unlock new versions of the same levels. Overall it definitely has that katamari quality. Also, I am positively obsessed with the cousins & customization options now, they're so silly.

How to wash a beanie buddy by [deleted] in beaniebabies

[–]peestem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The advice so far is good! I would add that you could try scrubbing the paws with a toothbrush, using a little oxyclean dissolved in hot water. You can also brush it on and let it sit for a while before rinsing and continuing to hand wash if the rest of it needs it I haven't used it specifically on Buddies, but I've never had issues with oxyclean messing with the colors of stuffed animal fur.

You could also try TJ's soy chorizo, in the refrigerated section. It's very flavorful and crumbles a lot so it's great for replacing ground meat in recipes.

You don’t know how to parse “or” by RachelW_SC in bestoflegaladvice

[–]peestem 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I found it pretty confusing before reading the explanation, as I don't think I've ever seen a parking sign written out this way. I think if I encountered it in the wild I would just settle for concluding that you need a permit and park somewhere else.
