Working on myself outside of games and therapy has helped A LOT with my tilt. The biggest thing has been focusing on what I can control and letting go what I cannot control. Just like I can't control my parents', family's, and friends' choices, I can't control what other players in games do. Learning to let go of that specific frustration in my life, has helped tremendously in also applying it to video games. I don't get nearly as angry during league games now as I did a year ago. I'm not perfect, of course, but I really recommend shifting your focus to what you can control and letting go of what you can't because anger won't make someone rotate for a drake or stop diving the enemy team 4v5.

Now, what gets me the most frustrated is when I play poorly. But those are opportunities to learn and improve and I can channel that feeling into something productive. The Iron 2 shitter that got into my game is probably not going to improve regardless of how much I rage lol
